Boba was awful. I ordered the matcha milk tea and it literally tasted like milk, no matcha. Ordered a regular waffle cone with Ube soft serve and the cone leaked. Ice cream was fine. Not worth $7. Won't be back. Didn't even finish the boba.

Black sesami and ube are the flavors available in soft serve right now, and there's a ton more in pre-packaged pints. The taiyaki cones are soft, dense, and flavorful in their own right, and my ube soft serve was so flavorful and creamy. Our sesami milk shake was good, but I feel the black sesame flavor is more intense in the soft serve.Also, it's located in Papillon Coffees on the corner near Tutu's

This "Uji Time" is no Uji Time at all. They don't serve any of the usual Uji Time milk/fruit teas and only have a limited selection of soft serves.Safe yourself the disappointment and drive an extra 10 mins to go to a real Uji Time in Concord.

Uji Time Express is located inside the Papillon Cafe and I'm so glad it's here! They have a limited menu but it's all good. I had the matcha and ube swirl in a cup and it was delicious. It hit the spot on a hot day. There are indoor tables and outdoor seating. Will be back!

Uji Time Dessert is connected to the cafe next door! Check their hours! The tayaki ice cream was so yummy! The owners were super nice and it also looks like a popular spot for boba. We’ll definitely be back next time!

I've been wanting to try Uji Time for a while so I was excited when I found out about the new location in Lafayette. I got the ube matcha swirl in a tayaki cone with Nutella filling, pocky, and sprinkles. While the ice cream was tasty, I thought the price was too high for the size of the cone. If I'm going to pay $7 for ice cream, I want to get the full bang for my buck. As a point of comparison, the tayaki cones at Devil & Angel in Concord are bigger and I believe the price was between $6-7. I also forgot to check in on Yelp for 10% off but will try to remember next time. Would I come back? Yes, but maybe not all the time when I'm in the area.

It's my first time having taiyaki and I'm glad I didn't have to go too far into the bay. The matcha and vanilla swirl was so good, and the service was fast.

First time here. Just came for the ice cream. Its a very cute cafe to come & study. They have coffee & yummy looking pastry. On to the ice cream. They have limited flavors available. They only had black sesame ans vanilla. I was expecting more flavor & matcha. Toppings are .85 each. The ice cream was okay. I felt like i could barely taste the flavors. Overall wish more flavors & more flavor in the ice cream. Next time i would like to try the pastries. People were friendly but not super social or anything.
