Mom's birthday dinner. The food was delicious. However, the atmosphere needs some improvements.

Delicious.
The food was OK for the price. The atmosphere was also just OK. The seating was uncomfortable especially because of my inability to plate my food from the table without having to get up to reach the food. Service was just OK but not special or worthy of a gratitude. I paid for my family's meals but felt the services or atmosphere was not outstanding enough to warrant a tip. However, after I paid and we were leaving the establishment to our car one of the restaurant's staff ran out after us and demanded a tip. Because of this rather strong arm demand, I begrudgingly gave them a tip. As a result of that action, which was somewhat intimidating, I will never patronize this establishment ever again.
Go if you are desperate for Chinese. Not catered to foodies.
Car absolute favorite for Chinese food. All of our friends who've been there agree with us. You can't possibly go wrong at Uncle yu's.
All 5 star experience and will visit again!
You can tell they cater to boomer taste buds. Not their fault but you'll definitely notice light flavor and portion sizing.

We ordered 1/2 a roasted duck for takeout. Opened it up to find this, spoon for size comparison. This is such a small amount of meat. Very expensive for that much meat.
We visited Uncle Yu’s today and had a fantastic dining experience! We ordered everything at once, starting with the Hot and Sour Chicken Soup, followed by the Crab Stuffed Prawn, Kung Pao Shrimp, and Crab Fried Rice—all based on our server’s recommendations.
The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Despite our hunger and indecision, our server was patient and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and helping us make the best choices. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was both comfortable and inviting.
Highly recommend Uncle Yu’s for an amazing meal and top-notch service!

This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat Chinese cuisine. I am here with a group at least once a month, personally ordering from everyone each time. I love the quality, the taste, and if I am paying a lot - I want food that makes me go mmmmmm each time.
You can’t go wrong here.

Four of us went to Uncle Yu’s for dinner and I was very disappointed with the food. We’ve been here several times in the past and the food has always been good until now. We ordered the Dinner Special for four that came with appetizers and 4 main dishes. The pot stickers with the appetizers were doughy with very little flavor. The spring rolls had no flavor whatsoever. The won ton soup had no flavor in the broth. Out of the 4 mains that came with the special I only enjoyed the Beef and Broccoli with the beef tender and tasty and the broccoli cooked aldente, like I like it. Other mains lacked flavor and the chicken chow mein, side order, noodles were overcooked and tasted starchy. I know restaurants have bad nights and I hope this was one of them for Uncle Yu’s.
Consistent. Good choices, good portions.Best hot and sour soup!
