We were visiting Laguna Beach and so fortunately discovered Active Culture restaurant on our first day. We then went the next two days too. The employees were all super nice and very accommodating and helpful. Some of the delicious food we had were the vegan chili, avocado toast, hummus wrap, the quinoa lentil bowl and the Thalia bowl. I brought leftovers home to LA and my son wants to know where the closest Active Culture is to us, he loved the meal. Will definitely go back next time in town.

The staff behind the bar is so rude, they’re just chit chatting and don’t even bother to be nice. Also they lost my ticket and I ended up waiting 30 minutes for them to give me my smoothie.

It’s frustrating because I’m busy, so I do pick up orders and almost every time the employees are just talking with each other. Doing nothing. Or talking to a customer for 5 minutes about what she did last weekend. Love the food but not worth it.

I first came here when I was 17 and I’m now 25. The Wholesome Bowl and the sauce is something I recreate as I no longer live in Orange County. I try to make my way to Laguna, and Active Culture every time I visit California again.
An absolute must for visiting Laguna, and if you’re a local, why haven’t you been here yet?
Perfect frozen yogurt, a great PCH view, and healthy food.

I love the food at active culture but the girl at the front was rude, short, and gave me a very whatever attitude. Makes me not want to come back to this location :(

This establishment is commendable, and the personnel exhibit a high degree of friendliness. Additionally, there is a diverse selection of vegan meal options available.
It was a lovely place with a beautiful view, and a high-quality guilt-free menu, I got to try almost all of their signature dishes. The highlights were the Wholesome Bowl, and the coconut smoothie 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻.
Leo, the cashier, was helpful and patient, and helped us a lot in deciding what to order. We also tried different açaí bowls, just like the ones shown in their videos.

I would consider myself a regular here and have always enjoyed grabbing a açaí bowl and enjoying the view! I really do enjoy it there but one of the employees was having hygiene issues and it honestly made me lose my appetite. Not to sound rude but this lady was on the larger side and the smell was unbearable. I wouldn’t say it will keep me from coming back but it’s definitely something I prepare myself for when walking in.
