Normally this is my take on my experience at Heidelberg restaurant. Good food, great atmosphere and service. One of my favorite places in Laguna Beach. However, while I was eating my bagel and lox breakfast, this Monday while eating outside, a very large dog pooped right in front of me. Needless-to-say that killed my appetite and spoiled my breakfast experience. I don't feel that pets, dogs, cats, etc. should share my dining space. For the possibility and probability...

Hands down once of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Extremely fresh, flavorful, and filling food. You can tell quality and attention to detail are at the highest level. I normally do not write reviews but was that impressed. You will not be disappointed!

Solid spot for breakfast or brunch in Laguna Beach. It’s a cozy little place, right by the ocean, so you can enjoy some sunshine while you eat. The menu has a good mix of breakfast classics and a few unique twists, and the food is generally well made. I tried a few things — the Surfer’s Breakfast Burrito and the Blueberry Brioche French Toast were my favorites. The Eggs Heidelberg and California Omelette were solid too.
