The short rib taco was absolutely delicious—the meat was so tender and full of flavor. And the churros? They were the perfect finish. Warm, crispy, and coated in cinnamon sugar. Definitely a must-try!

honestly don’t sleep on Carmelita’s. we came here after a long day at the beach out in the sun and got the chefs platter, corn, and churros. perfect size dishes for sharing a quick post beach meal. the staff is super nice and our server was great!

The food is excellent, the vibe by the beach is perfect but the SERVICE is SO GOOD. I wish I knew our waitress’ name - she was serving the patio at 630pm on 8/29 - because she was so kind. I told her it was my wife’s birthday, and while they don’t do anything huge for that, she made sure we got a dessert and she stayed back to sing happy birthday with me so I didn’t have to solo it. Very thankful!

We sat at the bar, party of 4 ladies. Unfortunately 2 very drunk men came and sat down at the window behind us. They continued to be served alcohol and one of them literally fell off of his stool onto the floor. The girlfriend of one kept walking back and forth bumping into us as there is not alot of space. Other than that the food was good and the spicy margarita, amazing! Would definitely go again but try to get a reservation.

It was our first time here, and the restaurant did not disappoint. The portions are small and slightly pricey, but the flavor makes up for the cost. I had the birria tacos and wife had the shrimp tacitos and both were great. Besides our normal Mexican restaurant, we frequent this is as close to authentic Mexican food as one can get in the region. It was most definitely a delicious experience. The restaurant has a great ocean view as well. This is a must try!

We had a delicious meal with our two kids. At first it seemed a little expensive, but the portions were huge so we ordered 2 entrees and it was more than enough. We got the carnitas tacos and the chicken fajitas and they were both amazing and came out sizzling hot on cast iron. The warm chips, salsa, and beans were so good too. Great atmosphere and service.
