Had a lovely Sunday brunch outside overlooking water . It was lovely. The photographer was great! We loved our complementary photo and bought a few!!! Hidden gem!!!

Wonderful Laguna gem. Great selection and beautiful ambiance. Sat on the balcony outside and listened to the waves of the ocean and enjoyed the sunset. very good service as well.

Waiter was not pleasant or friendly. We sat on the patio and our food came out and it was just left there unattended at an empty table for a few minutes.

Duck is the new chicken. Waiter got order wrong. Blamed it on the kitchen. Not attentive. Poor communication. Never apologized. Seemed like he could care less. Complete waste of a great night in Laguna.

We love C'est La Vie! The view from the upstairs patio is amazing just like the food. Brunch is terrific and so is dinner, the rack of lamb is to die for and hopefully we can make it back soon!

We loved the view, our server, and the food was fabulous! The perfect brunch location for three RN's! 💕💕💕

So they were completely understaffed, or at least that's what they kept telling us. But the crazy part was, the restaurant wasn't crowded at all and a lot of staff was walking past eating and carrying on. There were some that were trying their best but it wasn't worth it.

We had an enormous weight and even though we had a reservation, they were way overbooked. We stopped for the longest time without even getting any silverware or water. We had to keep asking people for things. It was pretty rough. They said they accidentally got overbooked, but they didn't give us a discount or anything. It was kind of not great for our Mother's Day.

Waited over 30 minutes for the waiter. I had reservations mind you. The shrimp scampi was sub-par. The lamb shank was good. The waiter was rude and so was the host. Not coming back. There are so many better places to go are here.

Everything was good except for the prices listed on here were $8-$10 below the actual price, so much more expensive

Our server, Stephanie, was professional, fun, funny, intelligent, interesting, attentive without hawking over us, and all around very good. Offered good suggestions.

The food was good but they've really cut back on their servings- I got like six fries with my sandwich!

I love French food and C'est La Vie has good food with lots of menu choices. Desserts are delectable!! The outside sitting has a beautiful view of Laguna Beach ocean. It's located in a great spot near Public parking and local shopping.

This is such a quaint little place. I love it because they had some one-sided booths available. It was a tad chilly, but the patio has ocean view and heaters. I'd like to go back and sit out there when the weather is nicer. The French onion soup was good. I got the spinach quiche. I think I would recommend to try the artichoke next time. It was also good. My daughter got an omelette with jalapeños which she loved and the only disappointment was my champagne cocktail at $19 I expected more it literally just taste like champagne when it was to have 2 liquors added. when I drank a few sips they took it back and added it and then it was so strong. I could barely drink it. the highlight of this lunch was definitely the pear tart. our waiter was very nice, but the patio kept him busy and we were his only interior table. kind of crazy that this lunch for two was $135. I would go back and just not drink the alcohol and maybe try some other entrées. The menu was expensive and there was a lot of things that sounded good.
