I love French food and C'est La Vie has good food with lots of menu choices. Desserts are delectable!! The outside sitting has a beautiful view of Laguna Beach ocean. It's located in a great spot near Public parking and local shopping.

This is such a quaint little place. I love it because they had some one-sided booths available. It was a tad chilly, but the patio has ocean view and heaters. I'd like to go back and sit out there when the weather is nicer. The French onion soup was good. I got the spinach quiche. I think I would recommend to try the artichoke next time. It was also good. My daughter got an omelette with jalapeños which she loved and the only disappointment was my champagne cocktail at $19 I expected more it literally just taste like champagne when it was to have 2 liquors added. when I drank a few sips they took it back and added it and then it was so strong. I could barely drink it. the highlight of this lunch was definitely the pear tart. our waiter was very nice, but the patio kept him busy and we were his only interior table. kind of crazy that this lunch for two was $135. I would go back and just not drink the alcohol and maybe try some other entrées. The menu was expensive and there was a lot of things that sounded good.

Every single thing was wonderful! It was a forever evening and sunset to remember! Thank you.

Horrible service. My date and I didn't like the menu so we decided to leave. They charged me $15 for water that they brought and wouldn't let me leave without paying for it. Would not recommend to anyone.

Food was gross, steak full of grissle, food cold, we sat for 30 minutes before a waiter saw us. After ordering $200 and waiting over an hour before we even got bread (we watched 4 other couples in different section get their food before us and come in after) they offered to compensate us with a $10 gift card. Horrible

Very popular patio for Sunday brunch. It was a nice day and nobody wanted to sit inside (more than a few “priveleged” types bypassing the hostess to scout their own tables!) so the servers were scrambling. They're obviously used to this! Pro tip: make a reservation. Very good brunch menu with a complimentary mimosa. Be sure to stop at the bakery counter on the way out!

Food was delicious! Service good. But it was cold inside and they kept both the front and back doors open, even when we asked them to close them. Best to dine in the summer months.

Food and service was good, though open doors made the restaurant so cold we ended up having to leaving earlier than normal, also noisier than comfortable.

Worst experience ever food was ok. I ended up getting double charged on my card and I've been trying to talk to a manager for 4 days and still nobody will return my calls. I live out of town so I guess it's ok to take advantage of tourists.I will be contacting my lawyer and Laguna police.

I recently went here for brunch, expecting a great experience, but it fell short. We ordered two entrees and two coffee drinks, which ended up costing well over $80. While the outdoor patio was pleasant with a nice ocean view, the service was slow for not being very busy. Servers were constantly rearranging the patio furniture to accommodate more parties, which was disruptive to the dining experience. For the high price, I expected more. The food was just average—nothing memorable for “authentic” French cuisine.

I always enjoy going here, for the food & views. The ocean is only steps away and you can see and hear the waves. Everything I've tried has been good and plentiful, and watch out for the dessert plate...OMG!!

Went for coffee and pastries. Coffee was the worst and the baked goods were frozen and old. Also extremely expensive for the disgusting food served. Complained to the manager who did not show any reaction to our bad experience. The restaurant is also dated and tacky. Would not suggest this place to anyone!!
