This is a nice place with a beautiful outside view. I believe it would be better during the day. The Clam Chowder ($16) was actually really good. I got the bowl serving, the plate was humongous but the food serving was quite small. I also ordered the, "Eye of the Ribeye Steak" ($58). It was honestly really good and nicely cooked at medium rare. Size of the steak was no bigger than the size of my fist (I'm 110lbs) , the creamy kale around it was decent, I enjoyed...
Had some family in from out of town and The Loft was booked so we decided to give Driftwood a try. Absolutely incredible meal! I am a competitive BBQ chef, and have cooked Chilean Sea Bass hundreds of times, and it's my go-to fish when dining out. Theirs was hands down the best I've ever had, by a mile. The Ahi Tartare was amazing as well. This is our new favorite restaurant! Great views on the beach, and the service was fast and attentive despite the packed seating....
A very cool spot directly on the beach in Laguna! Sunsets, sea air, outstanding food and Hilary was an awesome server! Highly recommended for any occasion but especially for a special one! I'll be back again!
