It was an amazing dinner. The view was incredible. We were inside next to the window. The sushi was fresh. We were able to order from Larsen's menu, too. The service was excellent. I highly recommend it!

Made the reservation at Fin but likely didn't need to because we were the only people seated near the sushi bar and the Hotel Laguna restaurant had plenty of seating with the same menus. The food was great and with all of our plates cleaned we had zero complaints! The charred edamame and Sunset roll were my favorites!!

The Fin sushi bar is around the corner from the lobby bar so really hidden. The sushi was OUTSTANDING. We did ask for no sesame seeds at all and the edamame came with a sesame sauce. We sent it back. We also pre called and asked if they had a specific name brand sake. We were told no, we bought/brought our own, and they actually did have it. Thankfully as we didn't want to spend the $35 cork fee on top of buying our own sake, we bought theirs. We would go back.

first time here, food was terrific. We ordered from the sushi menu which was fantastic, but we could see all the other food go by like burgers, tacos and salads and all of it looked delicious. Service was also excellent, our sushi came very quickly, the ambience was world class, we had a terrific table overlooking the ocean. Excellent excellent experience. Will be going again.

I recently dined at Hotel Laguna's restaurant and had a disappointing experience. We faced difficulty when requesting an outdoor table, despite several tables being open. The interior was uncomfortably hot, and the menu options were confusing. Initially, we were told that sushi was only available indoors, but later discovered it was also served outside after 5pm with a limited selection. The hosts were unhelpful and rude, though the waiter was patient and polite. The DJ's performance was average with outdated music. The food was overpriced and did not meet expectations. Considering the many other dining options in Laguna Beach with better views and service, I would not recommend Hotel Laguna's restaurant.
very yummy! expensive but a good value for oceanside fine sushi dining. some of the best sushi i have ever had. waiter brought a mini cake dessert for my boyfriends birthday which was very nice, “happy birthday” was even written in chocolate sauce!!
Host was terrible - confused by 3 restaurants in one which now they have strictly separated (Larsen and fins). Food very expensive for what you get and there was very little sushi on the menu

Great location, view, and food! We waited about 7-8 minutes after being seated before a waiter came over. He was very nice tho! Maybe the restaurant was short staffed? We had the yellowtail carpaccio, fatty tuna sushi, and a delicious sushi roll. We will be back again for the food and the ocean view!
