Food is usually superb as is the atmosphere. Service quality depends on the staff… possibly understaffed when we were there, but overall it’s a go-to place for brunch or a nice local time out. We often hit up the outdoor scene for live music, drinks, and the best ambience in town.
Can't believe I ate here a few years ago and didn't realize this was where they filmed the Hawaiian Hideaway for the Saved By the Bell Hawaiian movie. I'll have to go back some time when I am visiting CA and take a closer look at things. The breakfast I had there was fresh and well plated.
Great Food Service and Atmosphere Love it!!
The place, food, and service were great. However, I would give the valet 1 star for leaving all the windows down on a luxury vehicle while it was parked just 10–15 feet away from someone cutting grass. Extremely thoughtless.
When I asked about it, the valet said they left the keys inside so the car wouldn’t get locked. But what’s the point of valet service if you’re leaving the keys inside and all the windows down? I wouldn’t trust them with my vehicle again. I didn’t realize my car was being offered to the public for free while I was dining inside.
Thanks to the open windows, the entire dashboard was covered in dust by the time I returned.
Great views, food is ok, but not worth what they charge.
The experience my family and I had yesterday was completely unacceptable. We will never return, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We arrived and waited about five minutes before anyone came to valet our car. When we entered, the hostess didn't greet us with a hello or any warmth. We made this reservation for my mother's birthday, and when we mentioned that, she barely murmured a “happy birthday.” The service we received from our server was especially disappointing. He was rude and clearly rushing us, even though we had a full hour before the kitchen closed. He repeatedly reminded us about the time, which made us feel pressured. He noticed the birthday card and gift on the table but said nothing. He also forgot to place our drink order, so the drinks arrived after our appetizers. When my sister sent her sandwich back because it was cold and soggy, he didn't apologize or offer an alternative—just walked away. We had to flag him down again just to get a new menu. At that point, we still had around 20 minutes to place another order, yet he stood by the table impatiently. When my sister asked for another minute, he rudely responded that he couldn't wait. Then he threw a napkin on the table and walked off. Throughout the meal, he never once checked in—not even after my sister received her new dish. When he eventually brought a small birthday ice cream with a candle for my mom, he said, “I don't know whose birthday it is, but here you go,” before setting it down. It was not only disgustingly dismissive but insulting. At no point did he attempt to interact with us or show any sense of hospitality. For a place that prides itself on service and hospitality, this experience was far from it. We were treated with disrespect on a day that was supposed to be special, and we left feeling disappointed and offended.
Wonderful new seasonal menu taking full advantage of the onsite vegetable and flower garden. Chef Kyle is amazing!
Beautiful ambience on a golf course the food was fresh and tasty not heavy, even though the portions were a good size! Friendly stuff our server Jennifer was really sweet and helpful. Overall we had a great double date night! Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the items on the menu!
Brandon, Gressa, and the entire Harvest team always provide an exceptional experience with great service, quiet respect when patrons are talking, and delicious food.
The Harvest Restaurant in Laguna Beach was excellent! The waitstaff were terrific—very attentive and friendly. The appetizers were delicious, and the food arrived at a reasonable pace, even though they were busy. The entrées were terrific—my son had the steak, another had a hamburger, my daughter enjoyed a salad, and my wife and I had the gnudi pasta, which was absolutely outstanding. Overall, I highly recommend it if you're dining in the area! Oh and most of it is farm to table with the farm in site at the Ranch.

Expect beautiful canyon views at sunset! We really enjoyed splurging on the decadent Jandori Chicken Coq Au Vin and Half Duck in mole sauce. Don't skip the Last Piece of Apple Pie that comes in a pie tin with ice cream. Our waiter Cameron was also very friendly.
We've been here several times - My husband loves the cinnamon roll! We always have an incredible meal and the service is always A++. Highly recommend.
We visited The Ranch on a busy Saturday evening without a reservation, and to our pleasant surprise, the staff welcomed us warmly and offered us seats at the bar. Their friendly and accommodating attitude set the tone for a great experience from the start.
The vibe at the bar was fantastic — lively yet comfortable. It felt like the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good glass of wine. We decided to go for a wine and cheese platter, and it was absolutely delicious.
The rest of the food was tasty and well-prepared.

Visited Harvest for the first time with colleagues for brunch. Was confused when my navigation showed the Ranch as the destination and not Harvest right as I neared the restaurant; once I arrived I realized that Harvest is a part of the country club, Ranch. Onto my experience, overall, I would say it is worth the visit for the first timers like myself and/or once in a while - a few times a year - for special occasions, only. Food was mediocre for the price - had breakfast burrito (pictured) -, service was what I was disappointed the most. We had a server taking our orders and then switched with a different server who was supposedly on a “break” while the other server was only taking the order for the time being. Then the server was rarely at our table - we had 2 coffee refills and leftover wrapped up. Of those specific 3 times, our server was available only once. It wasn’t even that busy today between our visit - 9:45 and 11:00. May return only with my family and friends when they visit me the first time from abroad.
Parking: Valet only hut at least it is complimentary.
