Tadka Dal is not really Tadka Dal here, the taste was slightly burnt and there was a hint of non veg after taste (like if you use used oil from a non veg fried dish.We ordered Dahi Kabab - we got something that had veggies/peas in it and the coating was burnt.Samosas were ok. So the one star.The place may be good for non-veg dishes, but the most basic veg dishes it fails to impress by miles. Neither of the two mentioned above are eatable and have been discarded. The price for the Dal was $19. Not an experience to be repeated.2 stars because the staff are good. They however need to nail down the quality which their owners talk about.Vegetarian options: Best to avoid the Dal and Dahi Kabab. Don’t know about the rest. Could be better. Perhaps they do better non-veg.

We had a family dinner tonight to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary. Not only is the service impeccable, the food was amazing in every way. Their menu was plentiful with multiple options to go along with their ambiance. And to top it off. The graciousness and generosity of the owner was above and beyond. Came here with my family to celebrate our parent's 56th wedding anniversary. I'm blown away by the level of service we received. The food was incredible, the people were so friendly and attentive, and to top it off they surprised us with the most amazing cake from a bakery in Fullerton. I'm speechless and full of gratitude.

(Disgusting kitchen)(Racism)If you’re from India please do not go here.We ordered our food and waited almost an hour . The manager kept serving the new customers who showed up after us and didn’t even bother to look at us when I called.My baby was shivering in cold and started crying. When I asked we still weren’t served over others who just got in, he told us to get out and shouted “You all Indians are all the same “ I don’t know why he said that but waiting for an hour and getting insulted would be the last thing you expect in a restaurant . I would never visit here again.Horrible behavior. Never experienced this in years.

This is purely a kebab place. It is not a curry place. They have no idea how to make even the most basic of Indian curries. We ordered butter paneer and lamb masala. And guess what, the curries of both dishes were the same. We ordered butter garlic Naan but what we got was store bought naan that was toasted and cut in strips, sans garlic and butter. Their kebabs are very good but they shouldn’t call themselves a curry place. It is a different story when you are experimenting with a different cuisine and don’t get it right. But this is outright misappropriation of cuisine without being apologetic. When we brought these things up we were told this is Laguna Beach. You can’t expect good Indian food. What a lame excuse in this day and age.
I thoroughly enjoyed the freshness and creativity in the fusion of the Middle Eastern and Indian dishes. This was my first visit to Kebab Kurry and it was selected by one of my guests for our holiday celebration dinner. The only complaint was we enjoyed all of the dishes so much we did not have any leftovers to take home! The service was lovely and we spent several hours eating, chatting, and exchanging our Christmas gifts. The ambiance of the restaurant is relaxed and comfortable filled with the delightful fragrances of the spices wafting from the kitchen. We enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Masala, Grilled Tandoori Prawns, & Patharka Gosht Beef. Not certain I could pick a favorite for the evening, as everything was equally delicious. We closed the place down for the evening, the owner came out and chatted with us and then walked me out to the car. A perfect gentleman which is something we definitely could use more of in Southern California. It was a fabulous holiday celebration and I will definitely be coming back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys the culinary art of fusion and the flavors of Middle Eastern and Indian cuisine.

Amazing food and service. From the beginning, the service was very friendly. As we were waiting for the food, my toddler kept trying to go back to the fish tank in the front, and the owner noticed and was kind enough to come over and show her the fish and even feeding them on the spot. We appreciate a place that makes families with young children feel welcomed. He even noticed how much she enjoyed her fries, that he brought out more. As for our food, the steak was very flavorful. The Chicken butter curry was also very flavorful and moist. The location is really nice, right next to the Sawdust festival. After a day at the Sawdust festival, a great way to end the night is to stop by for great food and friendly service.Best part, it's halal!

I am wondering how I have failed to understand the reviews of this place, but first, a disclaimer:THIS IS NOT INDIAN FOOD.Do not be fooled by their reviews coz what they claim about serving Indian food ISN'T TRUE. We started with:Beef samosa : meh, nothing great. Garlic Naan : soft and yummyChicken 65 (semi gravy) : boneless chicken pieces served in thick sauce made of insanely red colored dye and tastes of unknown substances. Absolutely disgusting. That color stayed on our fingers for a whole 24 hours despite several soap washes.Chicken Biryani : boneless chicken pieces stirred in colored rice slurry and tastes like I have no clue of what! Disgusting wet mess.Ayesha kebab platter : beef kabobs of 3 assorted cuts but overcooked and rubbery texture and tastes bland.Absolute waste of money and such a disappointing evening.
