A total vibe. Food, drinks and view are top notch!!
the asian worker guy is amazimg
went here today, service was practically none existent, server barely showed up, took over 20minutes to get the server to come to our table so we can order dessert. They also tried to take away our plates before we were even done eating, for the price not worth it.
We had an exceptional dining experience at Larsen’s at the Laguna Hotel, thanks to our incredible server, Mario. From start to finish, Mario was warm, attentive, and made sure our entire party of nine felt well taken care of. He thoughtfully recommended a delicious mocktail for my mom, helped guide us through the menu with great suggestions, and everything we ordered turned out to be absolutely perfect. The food, the view, and the service were all top-notch. Mario gets an A+ from our whole family — we’ll definitely be back!
Excellent customer service!! Our waiter: he was fantastic. Old fashioned was perfect and margaritas my girlfriend says were perfect. Food was outstanding. Views are top of the line. Best oysters I’ve had, very big, super fresh( from Canada) which I thought was so random. Octopus was alright, I just didn’t like how it was prepared, chopped up like that felt cheap(especially when the bill is +$400 still gave $100 tip because waiter was excellent), I prefer when they present the whole tentacle haha. It tasted good though. Best halibut I’ve ever had, exquisite presentation. My girlfriend says the braised short rib was the best she’s ever had as well. We will be back for sure, till next time Laguna!
Awful service
We need more places like this.
Beautiful view where you can watch the waves and smell the ocean.
Relaxing, peaceful and joyful.
Food is good , not great, but completely satisfying the event.
Will definitely be back with “someone “ to share such beautiful morning.
We were a party of 6 and had to wait nearly an hour before anyone took our order. No one checked on us the entire time, and food came out late and overcooked. They still added a mandatory 20% tip... completely undeserved.
The ahi tuna nachos were great. We ordered the sea bass which came out well overdone with little to no seasoning. The short rib was a large serving, however like the sea bass it had little to no seasoning. The manager did come out and apologize and promised to address it with the kitchen. He was very friendly and he did comp the sea bass which was a nice and unexpected. The ambience was great sitting out on the patio. Service from our waitress was fair. We had been here a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. Maybe this was just a one off.
This restaurant in Hotel Laguna is very pretty and has incredible views. Our waiter was very average. He really took his time with us that night. It took a very long time for him to bring me my drink. I ordered a French 75 after confirming that the bar could make it and it was not good at all so I switched to Wine. The Brussels and Burrata appetizer was incredible. The rest of the dinner was very average. We had the sweet potato lasagna and the halibut. Our waiter didn't ask us what we wanted to eat for dinner after we put in an order for the appetizer. I understand he was trying not to rush us, but at the same time 15 minutes went by and then we had to flag him down to put in our dinner order. I would really only go back here for a drink and for that appetizer. I would probably sit outside too. I asked the hostess when we checked in if there were heaters outside and she said they were in a transition. So she didn't seem very enthusiastic about a table outside being too cold for us so we chose to sit inside by a window. Then when we were leaving, we saw heaters outside and I regret not sitting out there. Maybe there would've been better service.

Food was good, whipped Brie app was very good, Ahi Nachos as well. Short rib was great before, but last nice wasn't the same. Overall will return for sure but I never like the $30 valet charge but parking expensive in Laguna...
You pay for the real estate. No delineation from outside bar or fin. Servers are focused there because more tables. Might as well save the money and eat outside for better experience expectations.
Beautiful scenery. The waiter was great. Food was good. Steak was a little bit overdone and dry. Potatoes were literally overcooked. The oysters bomb sushi bomb drinks bomb.
Had a wonderful experience last night. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable and the ambience was spectacular! I would highly recommend it. We will be returning.
We had delicious food...octopus, fish and chips, Ahi poke nachos, and delightful wines. Armand was an excellent, professional and personable server. The view of the beach and ocean is a million dollar view! Overall, an outstanding and very memorable experience. Our favourite restaurant in Southern California!
