What a delightful view and our waitress, Josie, was also a delight! The Avocado cocktail was so amazing I think I had 4 and the appetizers were delightful!

I am normally a fan of Larsen in Laguna Beach. You can't ask for a better setting in town. We got to dinner at Sunset and it was amazing and we had a beautiful table. We had a very nice server and we had great appetizers and then when it was time to order dinner, I asked if the chef cooked on the rare side and I was told no he cooked spot on. We ordered two medium filet mignon and the third was a medium rare, and all of them came out, absolutely rare. We had to return them with the acknowledgment of our server. All three came back and one of them was sufficient for my wife to eat as a medium rare although I thought it looked rare. The other two steaks were rare and had to be refired again. They brought out now the third steak and again they were rare. We wound up eating them because we didn't wanna wait any longer, but even the manager agreed that they were rare. It's really unfortunate. They did take the steaks off of the bill however it was disappointing overall. Sorry to say I don't think we're going to be going back anytime soon.

I was here for brunch last week with friends to celebrate my birthday. I had a great time, and Christina made sure my mimosas stayed full, food was delicious and service was outstanding. She even was able to accommodate us getting sushi right before 12pm and surprised me with a little cake at the end. We never felt rushed and I appreciated that...

Beautiful spot on the water. Cocktails are adventurous and tasty but the best part was my sushi roll. Spicy tuna with salmon on top. Outstanding. Wish I hadn’t shared it!!

Great night out at Larsen! If you are looking for a lively atmosphere, Friday and Saturday nights are the way to go. For a quieter time, lunch is fantastic and the views are fabulous!

Everything about brunch at Larsen's was outstanding....atmosphere (outside table right on the ocean), service (friend.y and efficient), menu and food (Bloody Mary!!!), and prices (reasonable). Love this restaurant ❤️

Front desk hostess made the night. We had made reservations and place was busy. We were sat immediately outside , exactly as we had hoped for. This experience equaled all of our previous great experiences at Larsen. Thanks so much.

My family and I have been coming to the outdoor patio restaurant of Hotel Laguna for over 20 years. This was my first time visiting the restaurant after the remodel. We were seated inside (Friday night - they only allowed reservations for outside patio). Beautiful view next to the window. Service was great. Food was so so. The albacore carpaccio was outstanding but our two entrees were pricey and average. We ordered the Sea Bass which the fish was cooked well with a nice char but the overall dish with risotto and pickled onions had ZERO flavor which made it difficult to enjoy and finish. We also ordered the Short Rib and the presentation was unappetizing. It came out the size of a football and the majority of the meat slab was fatty. The taste was just okay. As our most expensive meal of the weekend ($250+ for 2), we felt disappointed by the entrees. Probably won't come back again for a dinner.

The views of the beach and the ocean were impressive. Our server was very nice and made some helpful suggestions. It had been quite a while since we had been at that restaurant. The food was good, except that they used a sourdough bread whose crust was so tough to cut that it would flip our eggs Benedict over each time we tried to cut into it to take a bite. I'll admit it's a little pricey for breakfast for four as it came out to $240 with tax and tip. The outdoor portion of the bar was nice and appeared to be comfortable as well as some tables that were on a lower level outside. If you haven't been here before, I would suggest you give it a try.

Some of the best sashimi and charcuterie board I have ever had. We will definitely be going back for more!!

Great location. Staff and food are fantastic. Larsen is our first choice, top of the list when taking clients from out of town.

Beautiful spot with delicious food. We enjoyed the octopus, calamari, gnocchi, sea bass, raspberry salad, burrata and brussels... all to perfection! With Jose as our server, icing on the cake.

My husband said, it was the best lobster roll he had ever had. The lobster meat was warm and so was the bread. Remember the parking lot is on the left. It's ten dollars for two hours.
