Went here as it was close walking distance from our hotel. It's not much to look at but it is clean and the service is very friendly. The food, however, was OUTSTANDING. The mongolian beef was th best I've tasted and I kept thinking about it over the rest of the weekend. I would have had it for breakfast the next morning if the restaurant were open. Not fancy but a great choice if you want excellent food.

Good food. Good service. Good ambiance. Came here after a long day at the beach. Was pleasantly surprised.

We used to go here as kids and it is just as good as we rememberThey can make most dishes gluten free. My wife is Celiac so it matters that they made us gluten free lemon chicken, orange peel chicken, sweet and sour chicken. Was a real treat for the wife and kids. It was just as good as the regular dishDietary restrictions: 80 - 90% of the dishes can be made gluten free

We drive from tustin for this delicious meal! The owners and staff are very kind. Our family orders the family special that includes a variety of appetizers and the ability to pick and choose different mains. The honey walnut shrimp and sizzling rice soup are a must!

Very warm and inviting. makes you feel very comfortable. The owners work as hosts and servers. they have been running the restaurant for years and have perfected being skilled and gracious. They make you feel welcome like you've been invited into a very gentle home. Food is very good and with wonderful flavors and generous portions. Pricing is very reasonable. Try it if you already haven't- you'll be glad you did Richard. Laguna local

I have eaten here and gotten takeout for over 30 years. Gotten to know the husband and wife owner over the years and they are very kind. It is a great place and the food is always consistent.

The food was delicious and was served by very kind and helpful staff who would even stop to share jokes with you. The prices were very nice too.

Mandarin King has been around forever and they do a great job. They have a large menu, but honestly, everything is tasty. My spouse and I have been going there for years and it’s consistently good. I’m a big fan of the sizzling rice soup, the house special chicken, fried rice and lo mein. Great for takeout, but if you have a chance to dine in it’s really cozy and they take good care of you.

Sweet and sour chicken was mushy and was mostly onion. We paid $17 for only a few pieces of mushy chicken. Pineapple was rotten as you can see in the picture. Chow mien had too much soy sauce. The worst Chinese food experience I’ve ever had. To top it off, they forgot to pack silverware!
