Love this French bakery. Their brunch menus are good enough but the croissant is very delicious!
Doesn’t make sense that bakery open at 8 AM in the morning .

The cakes were really good, but the sandwiches had stale bread — it wasn’t fresh at all

Very disappointed by the food quality overall and 2.50 $ charged for a Mini Croissant not even good !
Google lists their closing time as 7pm on Sunday. If you're walking several minutes to get there, call them. Don't trust that they keep their Google business listing up to date. In our case, we arrived at 6pm on Sunday only to find out they actually close at 6pm, not 7pm as listed.

Moulin in Laguna is one of those spots where every visit feels like a mini escape to France, but with a SoCal twist. I have to shout out their Caesar salad—easily one of my favorites anywhere (and if you’re in a rush, it’s a quick to-go). It comes loaded with pine nuts and that herby pesto chicken, which is such a unique touch. It’s fresh, vibrant, and just so satisfying. If you’re even half a Caesar salad snob (like me), this one will totally win you over.
The mushroom and chicken egg white omelette is another go-to. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you feel like you’re making good choices, but it’s still so hearty and packed with flavor. Super light, perfectly cooked, and never greasy—just really well done.
And don’t even think about skipping the pastry case. Their almond croissant is genuinely great: flaky, generous with the filling, and not too sweet. Honestly, it’s one of those rare places where you could come just for the croissants and leave happy.
The vibe is always buzzing—French café energy with a Laguna crowd, everyone from locals on laptops to tourists grabbing a treat post-beach. Service is fast and friendly, but it never feels rushed. If you haven’t tried Moulin yet, you’re missing out. This is my new Laguna staple.

This - BOULANGERIE-PÁTISSERIE-CAFÉ is the closest one I’ve found here in CA to the experience of French flavors. The food, the pastries, the design the atmosphere, really très très bien!!!

A lovely French bakery with pretty and tasty cakes. The mousse cake was light, not too sweet, and melted in the mouth right away.

We love this place and come here everyweek . just wish they were cleaner when it comes to tables outside and the another thing they don’t warm up the croissants. not a good place to go in a cold day since they don’t turn on the heaters outside , other than that coffee is amazing and pastry is so great .

Moulin is a charming little French bakery and café that we visited twice for breakfast — and overall, it’s a lovely spot to start your day.
On our first visit, I had the omelette with pesto and chicken, which was flavorful and filling. My husband had a croissant with an omelette, and he really enjoyed it too. The side salad that came with both meals was surprisingly delicious — the dressing was so fresh and tasty. We also ordered cappuccinos, which were nice, but the real standout was the orange juice — seriously one of the best I’ve had! So sweet.
We came back the next day and went a bit more classic — orange juice again (of course), cappuccinos, and a few pastries: an almond croissant, a regular croissant, and a sugar-dusted pastry. They were okay — not as amazing as I hoped, but still decent.
I’m still curious to try their desserts — they looked beautiful in the display case. Overall, Moulin is definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and craving a little French breakfast vibe. Cozy, stylish, and a nice option for a laid-back morning.

It’s 8:55 AM on a Friday, and I want to share my ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience at Moulin after visiting for several years. I’m mentioning the time so the manager knows exactly which associate I’m referring to—a very polite, and I assume, new team member. He’s a tall brunette gentleman with a bit of a beard, and he was an absolute pleasure to interact with first thing in the morning. His chic and welcoming attitude truly stood out! While the service here is usually neutral, this experience felt exceptionally warm and different.
Please extend my gratitude to him from a guest who truly appreciates the way she is treated.

Disappointingly rigid. Will not vary any menu items, won’t add anything or remove anything.
Portions not especially generous.
Good bread.
Value for money is mediocre too.
Dietary restrictions: Totally inflexible. Unwilling to vary any single menu item.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ok outside
