Best authentic Indian food in Laguna. For lunch we had the lamb curry, lamb vindaloo, and the chicken coconut curry. All three were delicious with the garlic naan. I would highly recommend all three of those dishes. Came with plenty of basmati rice as well.

DO NOT TRY.. I usually don’t write down good or bad reviews.. but this place deserves all the bad reviews they can.. food no taste.. I had to add lot of salt and mix with pickle to just make it eatable because I was hungry.. no service.. whole time no water .. no lights.. I get it there is natural light coming in but still .. place looks dead.. one lady sitting at end of the room on phone with headphones on.. I had to ask her for anything I need.. come on .. do better.. just like your food is priced in with place it’s located at then have courtesy to provide quality and service.. don’t act like people are doing u favor by coming to your restaurant…. Never coming back here again .. advice to non Indian eaters.. this is the worst Indian restaurant u ever go to..

Food was awesome. It was less spicy, but I like it that way. Everything was freshly made, and the service was top notch.

I ordered the shrimp Biriyani and was extremely disappointed. It was bland, and only had shrimp and rice in it. I thought it would come with vegetables and seasoned. I am not sure if this is because most Americans don’t know what Indian food is suppose to taste like so this cook their food this way, but please start cooking real Indian food. This is what most people pay for! Not a water downed American version of Indian food. You can do better, I know it.I also, I ordered buttery nan, and it came unbuttered.

Food was good. Service was good as well, although we were the only ones in the restaurant. They even gave us a little extra rice to go so we had a complete second meal when I took the extra food home.

I am 70 and I can say the most awful meal I have had ever, period. As for curry, I could not taste any at all. Bland and irrelevant food to match the atmosphere. Rude, miserable staff, one woman. So so bad this should be closed down. The whole deal is one of a idle pretension to better things. Ghastly experience.
The staff was really rude and offered me to take out food wrapped in aluminum foil in a mango crate. The crockeries and cutleries were not well-cleaned. Overall the taste of the food that I ordered (samosa and vegetable fritters) was not even 2/5.Moreover, there was a weird unclean smell within the restaurant.

Recommended by a friend to try this restaurant and their mango and corn soup. The soup was very good. However, the rest of the meal was regrettable. The tikka masala and vegetable korma , ordered medium spicy, was bland, lacked substantial curry or richness and tasted acidic and watered down. Vegetables appeared primarily from a can. Our server was stern, mono syllabic, and made no attempt at pleasant conversation.

Eaten at the one in Laguna hills and it was good, but was very disappointed in the one in Laguna Beach. ordered the samosa which was full of only Tamatoes. If this had come before we ordered we would have walked out. The onion Naan was awful, and the rest of the entrees that we ordered all were bad. Will not come again.
