First time at Nirvana and what a treat! Three of us went for lunch. The food was amazing, including grilled artichoke hearts and chicken wontons. We also had the wild lump crab cakes for an entree. Service was warm and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Chef Lindsay & Nirvana continue to deliver a fine dining experience, great food and ambiance. The Pacific halibut was delicious. The beef brochette melted in the mouth. The artichoke appetizer was flavorful. Over the top in every way. Chef herself came by the table and personally welcomed us which was a special treat. Her waitstaff were exceptional. We look forward to a return soon!

This was our first visit to Nirvana by Chef Lindsay . We were warmly greeted by Hillary and she guided us to a seat near the window. Nicole our server was a real pro. She was polite, attentive and offered very professional service. The pacing of the meal was very relaxing and we were never rushed between courses. We started with the grilled artichoke hearts accompanied by a well-made classic Old Fashioned cocktail. The rack-of-lamb and diver scallops were truly incredible! Cooked to perfection and plated beautifully with lovely sides. The herbed french lentils were so delicious. For dessert we shared a fabulous chocolate banana bread pudding. Chef Lindsay was wandering among tables and we complimented her on our wonderful experience. This organic and farm-to-table restaurant was a special treat!

My wife and I ate at Nirvana twice, and liked it so much we decided to host an event there (our wedding dinner!). The food and service is consistently excellent. My personal favorites are the kitchen sink salad, crusted salmon, chicken meatballs, and carrot cake (along with the coffee which is also excellent).

At our dinners, when we asked about dietary restrictions (gluten-free, and dairy free), the staff was knowledgeable and helpful, and for our event Chef Lindsay went above and beyond to create gluten free and dairy free versions of our dishes, which all came out delicious (especially the crab cakes!). The interior is inviting with interest coming from beautiful, hanging charcuterie boards.

Mainly, I love their focus on creative, organic food. Just as one example - the kitchen sink salad has a nice, hardy flavor overall (with beets and carrots), is perfectly dressed with a vinaigrette, then surprises (in my opinion) with candied pecans - sooooo yummy!

Thank you to Chef Lindsay and her staff for creating a wonderful dining experience.

Nirvana hosted my large family group for a celebration dinner (got married!) and we were all talking about the amazing experience for the rest of the weekend. Not only did Chef Lindsay and the kitchen and service teams fulfill all the plans we made ahead of time for our event - they added special touches all throughout the evening to take care of us. We had many restricted diets/allergy concerns in our group, and they took the initiative to change ingredients beyond what we had even asked for, to make everyone's choices easier and safer. I had previously dined at Nirvana and I knew the food was going to be good, but this menu exceeded our expectations. The salads and starters had so many wonderful flavors and textures. We had three proteins in the entree selection. My favorite was the meatballs (little spicy kick!) but many of our guests raved about the salmon with basil aioli. We also loved how Chef added special touches throughout the evening, like personally delivering ice cream sundaes to our family's kids who were gathered around the fire pit on the patio while the adults finished dining. The service was responsive and thorough all evening.

Food was good, a little bland. Chicken curry. Staff was attentive but not very engaging. This may turn out to be a place worth visiting if they can improve taste and train staff to relate better with customers.

I don’t normally leave reviews but everything we ordered was so good. They were very accommodating with dietary restrictions and the service was spectacular! Try the pistachio crusted rack of lamb…it’s the best.

Everything was great except the server didn't take notes and we had special needs and she messed up both our orders. It was minor and we didn't say anything but she should write it due. So she doesn't forget! Mine had cheese and I told her to leave it off and my niece can't eat citrus and she left the grapefruit in. But overall it was good. Loved the non- alcoholic drink options!!! I will come back.

I don't normally give five stars because then the restaurant gets too crowded, but they deserve it. Their muscles and fries were the best I have ever had -- bring a straw so you can get all of the wonderful broth. Their poblano chili starter looks nothing like their picture on the menu but it is delicious. Nirvana is one of the reasons we continue to go to Laguna Playhouse.

What a gem! We booked Pageant of the Masters tickets on a Tuesday and this wonderful amazing restaurant was halfway of the walk between our lodging at Casa Loma on the beach. Its farm to table theme was a solid hit. We shared the burata salad, I had the divers scallops and my wife had vegetarian gnocchi. They ran out of peas, but gave me several options so I chose the carrots which were subtle and well cooked. The Pinot Noir was excellent. Chose the flourless chocolate cake to keep down on the carbs and had an espresso. Nicole was our server and I highly recommend you ask for her. She was attentive and gave us good advice on portion size. The entire staff worked together and made sure we were well taken care of when things got busier. Coming back for sure!

They were quite unorganized. Gave the wrong food to the wrong table and with out she came out standing trying to figure out what table it was and we saw her and the food and said I think that's our food. I am pretty disappointed as have been there several times before and have had good service. Not sure we would go back.
