The first issue was seating us under a speaker playing loud music. Instead of moving the waiter immediately turned down the volume. I ordered the steak soft tacos and every bite was grizzled. So, they replace that with grilled chicken salad, which was good. There were two parties of 20-30 people and they weren't ready for seating them, so next to us dinner was disturbed by rearranging tables and chairs. Also, our waiter brought the check while I was still eating. Not the experience we were expecting.

The restaurant was woefully understaffed. We ordered an appetizer. That eventually arrived and tasted good. No drink order was taken. We eventually got our check and we left to dine elsewhere. Menu was boring. Noise level was horribly high. Very bad experience.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Oak restaurant on Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach which is an absolute gem. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a breathtaking ocean view that sets the perfect backdrop for any meal. Sitting on the balcony as the sun sets over the water feels like its own experience.
The food is just as impressive as the view. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From the seafood to the lighter options, everything tasted like it was prepared with real care. Portions are generous, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable given the prime location and quality.
Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, making the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. It’s rare to find a spot that combines absolutely delicious and incredible food, a stunning view, and great service all in one place.
Highly recommend this cozy restaurant for anyone visiting Laguna Beach, whether for a casual weekend brunch, a romantic dinner, or just to enjoy the coastline with a memorable meal. We will definitely go back again.

I had the salmon, and I've got to say it was some of the BEST salmon I've ever tasted! There was some sort of seasoning dusted on the outside that was perfect, and an very nice aioli as well, both of which enhanced the flavor without overpowering the tender, moist salmon.
The veggies that came with it were good too, but the salmon was definitely the star of the show. If I come through Laguna Beach again, I'll definitely be back here!

I think the Oak is a nice place to grab drinks and a bite to eat. The bar is great and their drinks are good. They have a tasty menu of appetizers- love the meatballs. They also have a nice menu. The returns even has some nice views because it is located on the second floor in beautiful Laguna. Parking is easy too

My wife and I had dinner here on the last night of our trip to Laguna Beach. The manager greeted us and asked us where we wanted to be seated which was a nice option - we chose a nice table with a view but out of the sun. I ordered the chicken parmesan with a side of pasta and it was delicious with the chicken and pasta cooked perfectly. My wife had the salmon and remarked that it also was delicious. We also requested and received bread with dinner and it was very fresh. We had a wonderful experience here and can recommend it with confidence to others.

This was our first time here. We had a wonderful experience. We were greeted by the owner, Tony, when we arrived and he was very friendly. We had a view of the ocean and had a great tasting meal consisting of the Crispy Ahi Tacos as an appetizer, the Lagunian wedge salad, and the farmers market stirfry. All were extremely fresh and delicious. We also had wonderful service from Victoria. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Laguna.

Great food , awesome service and the owner Tony is treated us like a family.

Every dish was perfection and presented beautifully. It’s a little noisy but we were seated outdoors where. it was lovely and vibrant. This is our new go-to. Tony the owner and our server Javier made us feel welcome and cared for. A special evening! Well priced for the exceptional quality but not cheap. Can’t wait to go back!

I had lunch 😋 and must say the 5 stars are deserving. The parking was not even that difficult (which it can be in the coast area). The staff were very welcoming, helpful and very attentive. The menu selections were great and what I ordered was great!
