Great experience at Oak in Laguna Beach. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we arrived.

The Farmer’s Market Stir Fry was absolutely delicious. Super fresh, full of flavor, and vegan, which I really appreciated. It felt like a thoughtfully made dish, not an afterthought.

Overall, great food, great service, and a spot I’d happily return to. Highly recommend.

Fantastic and friendly service, breathtaking ocean views, and delicious food that you can tell was made with care.
Ceviche was very good
Artichoke appetizer, delicious—I had it without cheese and sauce on the side.
Farmer’s Market (vegetable and quinoa) stir fry was superb; had it topped with avocado, but you can also add shrimp, salmon, chicken, or beef to it.

I’ve been to Oak Laguna Beach several times for both dinner and brunch, and every visit has been a great experience. The food is high quality and beautifully presented. Most recently, we visited for brunch to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and the hospitality truly stood out. I had mentioned the occasion ahead of time, and the owner personally came by to congratulate my friend and brought us a complimentary birthday dessert complete with a fun sparkler. It was a memorable touch that made the celebration feel special.

Between the excellent food, great location, and genuine hospitality, Oak Laguna Beach is a place I recommend and look forward to returning to again.

Great location on the corner of PCH and Oak. The restaurant is located upstairs with a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean. Great spot for appetizers and drinks on the balcony. Sunset views are spectacular. The food and service are really good.

Oak Restaurant in Laguna Beach has a fantastic location with a great vibe from the moment you walk in. The menu is creative and interesting, and the staff is genuinely friendly. The clam chowder was incredibly tasty and light, and the sea bass was excellent, fresh, high quality, and cooked perfectly. Overall, everything was really good, and I will definitely come back.

We visited Oak as a party of four and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From start to finish, every dish exceeded our expectations. We started with the blue cheese chips, the shrimp, and the artichoke appetizer — all delicious and full of flavor. We also ordered the asparagus tempura and the sea bass for our mains, and everything was cooked perfectly.

The food, ambiance, and overall experience were fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!

Great spot for birthday lunch for my wife. Delicious cocktails and lunch/brunch options. Loved the ahi tuna tacos and chicken and waffles. The big ice cube that says oak in the cocktail was really cool. You can see the water from the second level outdoor dining area. Server was very friendly. Looking forward to coming back next time we're in Laguna Beach!

The first issue was seating us under a speaker playing loud music. Instead of moving the waiter immediately turned down the volume. I ordered the steak soft tacos and every bite was grizzled. So, they replace that with grilled chicken salad, which was good. There were two parties of 20-30 people and they weren't ready for seating them, so next to us dinner was disturbed by rearranging tables and chairs. Also, our waiter brought the check while I was still eating. Not the experience we were expecting.

Great atmosphere. Tony was an amazing person to meet. This was our first night in Laguna and He welcomed us very well, Our server Javier was amazing. The vibe was very nice and the heaters outside was a plus, we came with a stroller and a baby and that was no issue, highly recommend. Food was great and reasonably priced

Honestly such good quality service and vibes here! Very nice atmosphere .If you are visiting (like us from OR) or live in the area, this is the place for you to have dinner. The food is delicious … We enjoyed each of our dishes. So flavorful and reasonably priced. Our server Javier was very attentive and polite. The owner Tony made sure to personally meet all of our comforts and was a very pleasant person to meet. 10/10 place… would recommend.

The restaurant was woefully understaffed. We ordered an appetizer. That eventually arrived and tasted good. No drink order was taken. We eventually got our check and we left to dine elsewhere. Menu was boring. Noise level was horribly high. Very bad experience.
