Saigon Beach - Laguna Beach

We had such a wonderful experience at Saigon Beach in Laguna Beach! The food was absolutely delicious, and the owner was incredibly kind. He offered amazing recommendations that made our meal even better. We enjoyed everything we ordered, but a special shout-out goes to the spicy lemongrass soup. If you go, definitely try it… you won’t be disappointed!
Highly recommend this spot for great flavors and genuinely warm hospitality.

Really, really good food. The Spicy Lemongrass Soup was very flavorful, definitely one of the best Vietnamese soups I've ever had. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor patio. Highly recommend.

Pho had no real flavour, fried tofu was good, tables were not cleaned up. Bit over priced.

Came here before 8 pm on a Sunday night. Before I begin my order the person stated I needed to order to go as they were closing. I went and double checked the sign outside as well as the website both said 9 pm. I came back in and said I wanted to eat inside because the sign said they didn’t close for another hour. She said they couldn’t and that they changed their hours and were closing earlier now. I asked to speak with a manager as that didn’t make sense and she then changed her tone and said I as well as the patrons that got there before me could now eat inside. Once I got my food it was the most water downed pho I’ve ever eaten, I could tell they did that on purpose probably because they were angry that their trick to close early didn’t work. Horrible customer service and worst pho I’ve ever had! Avoid this place at all cost!

Had a solid banh mi here and egg rolls. I saw there was a special protein for pork sausage with lemongrass to put on it and I'm very glad I tried it! The sauce for the egg rolls was delicious

My only negative is that the cucumber a large slice along the sandwich and is not cut up into thin strips

The food and drinks here are phenomenal. I think I finished two dishes before I even blinked- really. And also the crispy onions are addictive and if they sold them in bulk I’d buy all of it

Foods always great. Can be noisy off the PCH and parking in lot can be difficult. Good for a casual spot to eat or for takeout.

I got the vegan dry noodles and coconut pandan panna cotta. The dry noodles were tasty, but the panna cotta was out of this world. Next time I go I’m getting multiple!!

I love this place. It’s a must try! The pho, the banh mi, the pho dip with brisket, and the Nam nam chicken wings. It’s fast and good price but most importantly it’s delicious every time. Been here 8 times in the last 4 years

Understandably to a certain extent, it was closing time but they way they told us to leave was not professional and not the way to do it. And the food was ok.

Food wasn’t bad, would have given a 5 star review but the service was absolutely terrible. We were essentially told to leave. Won’t be back and won’t recommend.

This restaurant is huge on flavor but not on price.. we had a beautiful dinner here. You order at the front counter and then they bring everything to your table. There is an outdoor patio or an indoor dining room to choose from and both are clean but nothing fancy.. just a down home come as you are casual beach vibe. Our favorite dishes were the spring roles, shaken beef, and the brisket banh mi dip sandwich. The garlic noodles are a nice side alternative to rice and the chicken wings seem to be a universal favorite. This is a great relaxed place to grab a bite.. food comes out fast and hot. There is a free parking lot on the north side of the building.
