Tonight we enjoyed an excellent dinner with friends at Sapphire, in Laguna Beach, celebrating our friends birthday and wedding anniversary. It was very worth the drive from Long Beach. I was so excited to find that is the exact site and patio of the old Pottery Shack, one of the iconic and great places that my family visited and shoppped at frequently in Laguna during the 70's-90s. Where to begin! From Greg and Sal who provide the friendliest warm welcome on arrival, to all the members of the staff, I've never felt so at home at a restuarant. The atmosphere (especially at sunset) is incredible and the food and cocktails are out of this world. Since moving to the SoCal area in 2024, this has quickly risen to a favorite (almost weekly) spot and they keep leveling up with the monthly specials.
