Sea butter Laguna Beach is my go-to for sushi. The fish is always fresh, and the rolls are perfectly crafted. The service is friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend for sushi lovers!

Delicious, wish there were more roll options. But all of it was still very delicious. A5 wagyu roll was small for the price.

WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD. Ordered food online for pickup at 7:00pm, they pushed it back to 8:20, then 8:50, then 9:20 and didn’t offer to take care of anything. It’s a bunch of kids running this place and honestly 0 customer service skills.

Ordered to go via DoorDash TWO HOURS ago and it still hasn’t left the restaurant. They kept the driver waiting for more than an hour, and I called 15 minutes ago to check on things and they said they were “waiting on one more item.” Meanwhile the rest of my food has just been sitting out. It seems I bought $150 of sushi and it’s just rotting on their counter somewhere. If it ever does arrive, I’m not really looking forward to cold miso and soggy tempura, either. I feel terrible for the driver who works on tips and is missing the chance at other deliveries, and I’ve sent him some extra $$ to make up for Seabutter’s terrible service and communication.

There are too many great sushi places to waste your time here.

Sea butter was mouth watering! Me and my boyfriend are from Colorado and we love raw fish! Drank some sake to get us in the mood for the romantic beach sunset walk!

Great selection of sushi! Fresh and tasty. They have tons of gluten free options and take precautions for cross contamination. I have celiac and felt comfortable eating here and didn’t get sick. Loved it so much we ordered takeout the next day.

This is a hidden gem in Laguna Beach. We made a reservation online but my husband didn’t realize it was for the Beverly Hills location, so when we call the right one to fix it, they gladly accommodated us with no problem! The sushi was delicious and service was outstanding. Will definitely be back.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. We went with our 7 year old twins for dinner.

Sushi was excellent! Used to come to this same location when it was San Shi Go. Thought Seabutter made my old sushi location better, brighter, and now includes an outside patio to enjoy sushi with a slight view of the ocean and sunsets. Topping it off, our service was great and accommodating for our party of 6. We will certainly be back.

After being told there was a 90 minute limit for dinner, we were told someone was waiting for our table after only 1 hour. I had made reservations ahead of time and found it to be extremely rude of Sea Butter to rush people out
