So delicious! The empanadas were just what we needed after a long day at the beach, the bread on the outside was perfect and the whole thing together made for a cozy, homey, meal.

Don’t pass up this gem while in laguna beach. Had it on the way to our next stop & really wish I had gotten it day 1 to be able to stop in multiple times. such delicious empanadas. Friendly staff!

I loved everything. From the staff to the meals and ice cream. Everything is simply perfect. I wish she had baked goods that went with the ice cream, like cakes, shortbread or cookies.

Very best Empanadas I have ever eaten. Perfectly prepared, delicious filings, crispy flaky delicious crust and the chimichuri sauce is perfect. Had spicy beef potato, beef and cheese, spicy pork beef. Highly recommend. Wish I would’ve doubled my order. ? ?
Wish I would’ve taken some photos.

Empanadas are okay if you don’t like a lot of seasoning. Staff was unfriendly towards my Hispanic family members.
(When a Caucasian member of the family asked for the closest bathroom, the staff provided a door code to use their bathroom despite having posted signs stating they had no bathroom for the public. When a Hispanic member of the family asked the same question the staff simply told them, “We don’t have a bathroom.”)
Very disrespectful and disappointing to see a restaurant using culture that the staff does not respect or value.

Fast, cheap, and most importantly delicious! Great multitude of vegetarian (and even vegan) options. Very limited seating so don’t plan a sit-down meal or anything with a large group. Great for a grab and go empanada or a quick stop!

The empanadas were amazing! Coffee was absolutely terrible though...and nowhere to really enjoy them, small place with only a couple chairs.

Came here for the reviews. We had 4. Prosciutto, spinach & cheese, spicy pork and beef and potato. Spinich is 100% canned/frozen. Everything else was packed with cumin and claimed to be seasoned. Being that empanadas originate from Portugal & Spain and gelato from Italy, I don’t know what gave me the bright idea that a Thai owner would get it right. Obvious lesson learned.

Had a quick lunch here after flying in from Toronto and it’s really good. The empanadas were all very flavourful and delicious, with what tastes like an Italian twist (in the chimichurri sauce). I got their chicken pot pie, chicken and mushroom, and beef and potato flavours. All great. The pastry dough was perfect too.

I just came back from Italy so I had to try their gelato too out of curiosity.

I sampled the Italian classics (tiramisu, Stracciatella, and mango sorbet). I have to say the tiramisu tasted a bit artificially flavoured which was disappointing, and the straccciatella lacked flavour. I don’t blame the owner though, Italian quality chocolate chips, flavourings, and cream are hard to come by in North America.

However, the mango sorbet was very delicious and flavourful, I could taste fresh mangoes. The other flavour I picked was the hazelnut crunch, and it was also surprisingly delicious. The hazelnuts were fresh, and tasted great.

Would go back!
