5 star experience at Yuzu. Every single dish was uniquely curated and flavor profiles were out of this world. Could not recommend this place enough. Ask for Luke! He was the best waiter. Attentive, informational, and helpful. Two of our party were not big sushi people and enjoyed every bite.

My partner and I were so delighted with our first experience dining at Yuzu Laguna Beach. We sat at the bar which was very comfortable. Our exceptional server May was attentive and professional. We ordered the shishito peppers, house salad, Laguna Beach Roll and Octopus Serrano Roll. Everything was fresh and delicious! The lychee martini was a lovely treat as well as the Mochi Trio for dessert. Absolutely amazing dining experience. Our highest complements to the chefs!

Last night’s (Oscar Sunday) visit to Yuzu Sushi Laguna Bch was a great experience from start to finish.
Excellent service and a fantastic location right in the heart of Laguna Beach. The sushi rolls were creative, fresh, and absolutely delicious—every dish had bold flavor and made us want to keep ordering.
We tried the Monster Roll and Dragon Roll, both beautifully prepared and packed with flavor. The calamari was perfectly cooked and tender, the tempura shrimp light and crispy, and the gyoza a great starter with rich flavor.
Overall, a fantastic evening with great company, outstanding food, and a perfect Laguna Beach setting—my old hometown. Very glad we chose this spot and will definitely be back. Absolutely delicious. 🍣🌊

We ate here last summer for dinner, the food was exceptional, service great, ambience nice for a small establishment. Our visit for lunch was far far away from our original experience. We live in Palm Desert and were traveling to Anaheim for an overnight. Thought a few more miles out to the beach would be nice especially since we had such a great experience previously. Service lacked from start to finish. Server put the wrong order in, when it was delivered to our table was described as what I ordered, clearly was not. When I called the server to our table, she said yes, that it what you ordered. I challenged her, she came back and said, ok we will fix it, meanwhile she wanted our next order. 20 minutes later my original order delivered. Of note, table next to us had similar issues. Service was lacking, no apologies for incorrect food. Then shift change occurred, our server left, no introduction, no alerting us that our server was leaving. Second shift never checked in on us, had to flag someone down to get the check. The food was good but the establishment lacks professionalism, a great manager would alleviate most of these issues. Sincerely hope they can turn things around. Would like to come back if service up to par as first visit experience.

Disappointing service experience. We drove all the way there because it had great ratings and we love trying new sushi places as a family. Even though there were empty tables and availability to book for four, we were told there wouldn’t be any space for at least an hour and a half — most likely because we were with kids, which makes it even worse! Very disappointing!!
