Loved breakfast here so much we came two days in a row. The breakfast burrito was the best my husband has ever had. Great pastry selection and really good lattes too. Customer service was wonderful!! Beautiful and huge seating area out front with ocean view.

I've recently become a fan of their Lavender Honey Latte! I love that they are open early, welcoming environment and friendly service. I haven't tried the food yet, but their offerings look fresh and delicious 😋

My favorite coffee and quick breakfast spot in Laguna. I would eat their breakfast tacos 8 days a week if I could. Doesn’t have the lines of some other popular spots. Plenty of seating on their patio. Lovely staff.

I'm at the pantry as we speak. The food is a 4 but the service is a 2..not very welcoming.
$28 for a simple burger and fries+ tip but with no drink. I’m local and this place used to be somewhat affordable, now it’s just another over-priced Laguna tourist spot. It would be nice if some local restaurants would figure out an affordable lunch menu instead of the “tourist” menu.

Open early, reasonably priced menu with a good variety as well as some grab-and-go options and an entire pastry counter. The patio is expansive with ocean views and they are extremely dog friendly.

Hidden Gem for Breakfast (and Beyond!) in Laguna Beach
We were visiting Newport Beach last week and stumbled upon this delightful restaurant in Laguna Beach called Sapphire and The Pantry. We were looking for a nice place to have breakfast and were so pleasantly surprised by what we found!
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a mix of modern and rustic elements. The staff is friendly and attentive, and Amy in the management was particularly accommodating. We had a bit of a mix-up with our order, but she went above and beyond to make it right, and we ended up having such a great experience that we came back for dinner at the sister restaurant later that night (which was also amazing!).
But let's get back to breakfast! The food is absolutely delicious. We highly recommend the waffles, which are light and fluffy and come with a variety of toppings to choose from. We also loved the Mexican mocha, which was rich and flavorful. The menu has a great selection of other breakfast items, as well as lunch and dinner options.
Sapphire and The Pantry is definitely a hidden gem in Laguna Beach. If you're looking for a great place to eat, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we highly recommend checking it out. You won't be disappointed!

What a great place to have brunch. Daughter and I shared an incredible chicken Caesar salad and a Waygu burger. Wife had the smoked salmon and frommage omelet.
Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection.
On the pricier side, but you get what you pay for, right?

Very nice little spot here in the The Pantry! I think they are affiliated with Sapphire - the popular larger restaurant next door. But this spot has its own charm, and is open early! The staff is kind and friendly. Proactive and quick! The food is pretty tasty; but a bit small in terms of the portion for the price. But enjoyable! The coffee was middle tier. The avocado toast was very tasty, but a bit small. Lovely outdoor patio overlooking pch and glimpse of the ocean. Very nice! Dog and kid friendly! Tons of options inside. Wines, pastries, prepacked, fresh to order, etc.

Adjacent to Sapphire restaurant, in its own mini Peppertree Lane, this place is perfect for a morning iced latte, and the cinnamon pull-apart pastry was amazing. I used to come here every lunch for the mesquite turkey sandwich. It's tucked away and has less foot traffic, meaning the local neighborhood cafe experience is more friendly and relaxed than other nearby coffee shops. The inside is small, but Sapphire's outdoor seating is available in the morning which makes it feel much larger. Someone was even inside working on his laptop, so it's potentially a good tiny work cafe.
