Love this spot! Great food and ambiance. Service is good too! Their hummus and salads are amazing. The location is great- pleasant spot for sure! You won't regret it! Coffee or tea is a must :)

Nice place for breakfast or brunch. I liked their breakfast burrito and tumeric latte. They don't serve meat but food is still good, seating is okay, I didn't find the chairs very comfortable at all and the tables are small.

Busy trendy cafe in Laguna beach. Great coffee and great place to people watch! Outside seating is plentiful although on a weekend my waits are not unusual Food is consistently good but not great

Been by this establishment many times over the past couple years and finally decided to stop in for breakfast. The place was busy with what felt like good energy. My perception changed when I made it to the register to order. The girl behind the register was horribly unfriendly and uninviting. The only thing that makes sense is she's possibly a family member and was placed in that position with no real thought around true hospitality. Very unorganized table seating and food runners were confused on where to deliver food. Ordered the Chilaquiles and they were just bad. Requested an over easy egg with an additional egg that was served scrambled. Why would they serve one over easy and one scrambled? The sauce on the tortillas chips was nearly non existent. Real chilaquiles are smothered in sauce in a skillet and softens them up. This dish was like a hand full of chips barely drizzled in sauce. Crispy and little flavor with lack of sauce. I can't even recall what my wife ordered it was that unforgettable. I don't see us ever returning. If the hospitality was there we'd probably reconsider but it was so nonexistent that I can't ever see myself making the choice to return.

We work next to Zinc and come there often. Occasionally there has been the focaccia bread and it is the best I have tasted!! John, please put that on the daily menu as that would be your top seller. It goes within minutes of putting it out and I am very fortunate enough to get it when they come out.

Cute little place, I stopped for matcha here. It was a bit gritty and not very sweet but the employees were very nice and they had lots of different kinds of food, drinks, and gifts available. Parking was a bit difficult but just street side parking for $1.50/30 minDietary restrictions: Non dairy milk options.Parking: I parked a street over and walked through.

I love Zinc Cafe. The food is always outstanding. My go to is the Ruben. I love the combo of the beets with the sauerkraut. I also enjoy the soups a lot too. I have never had one I didn't like.
