You know it’s good when the base level of sugar is not too sweet! Seating is limited but very cozy. Will be my go to spot in this area.
I got the horchata latte with oat milk and an add shot.Expensive to be as underwhelming as it was...pretty bland. Wouldn't go back.
My Favorite Boba place, its so yummy.
Friendly staff but slow service, brown sugar milk tea tasted more watery than milky.
So clean, customer service fantastic. Great Bubble Tea for a hot summer day!
I love finding cute coffee shops and this has been one of my favourites in South OC so far! I've been coming since they opened 2 years ago. They do a blend for their speciality coffee and it has all the aspects I love in coffee! The boba is so good too and the workers are the nicest. I'm very specific and complicated sometimes with my orders because I want to try different things, and the girls there are always so accommodating and glad to work on my order! Also a big + for celebrating BTS's anniversary. The space is a bit small but also cozy and inviting to hangout or work. Thank you for the free photocard, great service, and drinks!
I was in the area visiting family who do not drink coffee. I needed coffee. Komi was within walking distance so I gave it a try and I am really glad I did. This is a delightful little shoo, the service is excellent, the coffee is delicious, the coffee cake was very good. Not much inside seating, but hey it's Laguna Hills, sitting outside isn't an issue! I will be back next time I am in town.
I have been going to komi since they took over from chatime. I love their thai tea and mango jasmine green tea. They use non dairy creamer which is why I keep coming back weekly. I'm lactose sensitive and it is diffcult to find a good boba place in south oc. They have switched from the typical sealed tops to the regular cups eith caps which has caused more spills in the car.The girls are super nice and have gotten to know a few of them by name. The owner, at least I think she is, is not the warmest person and has not properly stamped my card on multiple occasions but still provides the same quality drinks.
Komi Coffee, Tea, and Snacks is a delightful coffee and tea house in Mission Viejo. The atmosphere and decor are pleasant, and the menu is a lot more creative than most coffee shops I find myself at these days, while still containing all the classics for those who just want a regular latte or cup of joe. The baristas, too, were charming and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks, and were very helpful with questions and alterations. I tried a lemon cold brew drink, which had a nice, sweet lemon tart flavor, but the acidity of the lemon combined with that of the coffee was a bit overbearing. The barista was more than happy to take the drink back and add some milk at my request, which I rightly guessed would cut down the acidity of the drink (although I can’t quite recommend that fix exactly because if you take more than five minutes to drink it the milk will start curdling a little!)
Dark brown sugar milk tea was good. My only issue is their packaging / cup with lid. When I inserted the straw, the tea overflowed.

Great quality tea!I ordered the Premium Taro Milk Tea and it’s the best I’ve ever had. It doesn’t taste watered down. It’s very rich tasting (hence premium!). Price was $4.50 without boba (added boba is $0.50).The drink is doesn’t appear to be colored purple with colored taro powder. The color is more of a light tan. Seeing that taro can come in different colors - pink, purple, cream, and white - the color doesn’t bother me.I didn’t get boba because it wasn’t done cooking yet. This was at 8:20 AM and the store opens at 7:00.I would definitely go back and try to get boba with my tea!
Komi has easily the best milk tea in the Laguna Hills area. In all honesty, I haven't tried their other stuff but I really don't need to since their milk tea is just that good. The boba they have is made fresh twice or thrice a day so it is always extremely chewy and not "dead" like boba at most other milk tea places. My ONLY problem was they tend to put a bit too much ice in their drinks by default, but the staff are very good with changing the levels of ice in the drink. I always get their Dark Brown Sugar Milk Tea with 50% ice and a touch of extra brown sugar and of the flavours I tried (which was all of them), it is by far the best one in my opinion. As a final note, their pricing is very good. You almost feel bad about how little you are paying for such a good drink. So here, stop reading my review and get yourself a milk tea.
Very good drinks, would like to see more food. Had the Blue sky peach yogurt blend and the horchata yogurt blend both were great. The pastry was nothing special, just like what you get at Costco.
Very nice coffee place. I got my caramal machiatto with seafoam and boba. It's the best of both worlds.
I didn't expect much from this little place...but I think that was the best mocha I've ever had ? it didn't leave residue on my teeth the way that Starbucks does! I also have a dairy intolerance, and Komi had several dairy substitutes ? the best part was that it came with dairy-free foam on top!!! It's been a LONG time since I've had anything equivalent to whipped cream. I LOVED this place and will DEFINITELY be back for more ?
