The server, MJ, is a fantastic example for how a server should be. She was nice, anticipated the customer's needs, and acted accordingly. She turned my otherwise 4-star review into a 5.
GameCraft is always a great time. The beers are top-notch and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. MJ goes above and beyond with amazing service and a friendly attitude, making every visit even better. I highly recommend this spot!
Nice place, good people, good beer. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy kicking back with a cold beer on a clear California day, even more so if you enjoy gaming.
MJ and the rest of the staff here are so kind and engaging, and the beer and vibes are always fantastic. Highly recommend!
GameCraft Brewing provides a fun place for game enthusiasts to gather. There was a variety of drink options to choose from - beers, wines, soda, water. There was also bottled drinks like tea in a glass container behind the bar area. The food was decent pub food.
There was plenty of parking. I liked that they had board games and pinball machines available. I had an enjoyable time here. The downsides were that the place was a bit small and hot during the summer with only fans running.
Drinks: I like drinks on the sweeter side. The bartender was nice and let me try different flavors to pick what I like.
* Seltzer - Baja Blast 5/5 - Good sweet drink that didn't feel like I'm drinking alcohol.
* Ube Painkilla 3.5/5 - Pretty drink, light purple. A bit sweet, but had a cough syrup aftertaste.
* Cider drink 4/5 - Kinda like an apple cider drink, but more beer-y.
* Soju Cocktail - Didn't get this. I thought it'd be sweet from the online menu. Apparently it has a ginger and serrano chili pepper taste, so not what I wanted.
FOOD:
* BBQ Wings 4/5 - Juicy and flavorful wings.
* Lemon Pepper Wings 3/5 - Not bad, but kinda dry and really sour.
* Cesar Salad 4/5 - Who orders salad for a game night? Jk. It was actually pretty good. Plenty of dressings and shaved cheese on top.
* Pretzel Bites 3.5/5 - Dense pretzel bread bites with sea salt on top.
* Flatbread 3.5/5 - Flatbread okay. Ours came with shredded pork on top that was kinda dry and had no flavor.
* Fried Wonton 2/5 - Crispy wontons filled with cream cheese. The cream cheese was a bit much to eat.
* Egg Rolls 2/5 - Crispy vegetable egg rolls. Had a bitter aftertaste.
Love our neighborhood brewery. Always a great selection of beers and the food is great too. Beertender Ted really Hooke is up this month (buck a beer month). Cheers
We only went in to ask directions. The assistant was extremely helpful.
The drinks were fine, but the service was off. The two males taking orders weren’t very welcoming and the energy just felt off.
Always had a great time at this place. However today, the individual at the counter was being unnecessarily rude. When i asked him what tables are available he kept pointing me to tables in a corner, and when i asked him if i could sit at another table, he just slams the counter and tells me “why can’t you sit anywhere else. He never once mentioned that would be an issue as I had no idea they are understaffed. Highly recommend to keep people that could be more courteous.

Has outdoor seating. 18 beer choices including guest taps. Full kitchen. Had chicken tonga tacos and they were good enough and inexpensive. Loved the Obligatory hazy guest tap from Ten Mile. Here on a Sunday Night and fairly busy.
Would go back when in the area.
$6 for a soda? Are you crazy?
I took my family here on Saturday about an hour after they opened. After we ordered we found out they were already out of burger patties. Not sure how that happens after the store has only been open for an hour. The staff is kind enough to give us a different entre option.
When I went to close out my tab I was surprised to find out a soda is $6. To me this seems simply unacceptable. This is like theme park pricing for a soda. Absolutely ridiculous. I will not be coming back. When I asked about the price of soda I was told the management raised the pricing because they were tired of people coming to the restaurant and just playing games and ordering soda and no beer.
There has to be a better way to do business.
Great Spot!!
Just had a great experience. Did a meetup with other people from my industry. Had the soju cocktail, twice. It was tasty. The restrooms are clean, with big mirrors and nice lights. Tons of free board games and card games to play. A great place to hang out and catch up.
Beer is good, decor seems thrown together, and the food leaves much to be desired.
