Our server was outstanding , she explained everything perfectly.. the ambiance was excellent, warm , casual and memorable. We will be back soon, this is our go to place for great food and service.

Service was terrible! We had reservations and still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Then when the waiter came to take our order, he took my order and immediately took the menus and started to walk away without taking my husband's order and we had to call him back. My husband ordered a shrimp cocktail and a cup of soup before the entree. First the soup came out 30 minutes after the order, then a few minutes later the shrimp cocktail was served. Then more time went by and the waiter came over to say that they didn't have the lobster size I had requested. This after he referred the spiny lobster. Shouldn't he have known what size they had, and why did it take so long to tell me? So I had to reorder. Still along wait time before the entrees were served. Never once did the waiter come by to check how everything was. The lobster was very tough, chewy and very bland taste. It was our 40th Anniversary and was noted when we made our reservations, but no mention was made of it and we didn't get a complimentary desert as one normally does for a birthday or anniversary. The whole experience was a total letdown- nothing like it used to be.

We had a wonderful waiter. Check on us , provided excellent service. The restaurant was clean and very nice. Good food, cocktails and customer service.

Part of our party canceled last minute and our server was so accommodating with our table. Everything was perfect !! Yummy food and great service!!

The oysters !!!!! They get some of the freshest seafood. Think they get first pick from Santa Monica seafood, or at least they use to.

Prices keep going up, and portions keep getting smaller. They're are about to become not worth it, right at the edge now.

What service was over the top amazing, and I thought there was no way the food would be able to top the service, and nothing against the service but the food was every bit as good as the service which is so rare to find in the industry, it was spectacular in every way!

I'm continually baffled by the operational challenges at King's Fish House. Even with reservations, we faced a 30-minute wait due to servers not being clocked in. While we appreciated being seated promptly with bread and indoor seating, our order wasn't executed as requested. However, the food itself was excellent, as always. If you're a seafood lover, it's worth a try, but be aware of potential service issues and plan for extra time.
