I am sure the service, atmosphere and probably even the food is much better if you show up an hour or more before closing but after showing up 5-10 minutes prior to them closing, my experience was waaaay less (more 🤔😆🙃😉) then par. Abstract golf joke there☝🏼. Anyway, I waited 5-10 minutes to have my order taken because a dude spilled water all over a table. Instead of taking my order then wiping the water dry, the main guy did the opposite. Then a gal cut infront of me in line until her friend told her I was ahead of her but after assessing the situation I let them pay for the ice cream ahead of me so we can get them out of the relatively cramped quarters. Finally, guy took my order but was very rude, rushed me and clearly seemed upset because of the spilled water near closing especially when he has other customers waiting. Why you being rude to me bro? I pulled up an hour ago to charge my EV in the back lot and when I saw y'all had no public restrooms I walked elsewhere for #1, then returned for the lox sandwich 5-10 minutes prior to closing.

Anyway, I paid like $15 for a lox bagley and $3 for halva chocolate bar. I did not like this halva stuff but the lox sandwich was fair. I did see any added salt nor pepper to the lox but it tasted OK to good.

Overall, the place is way overpriced for what you get and the service at least from my experience made it worse. The guy was friendly when I left but I just did not feel welcome the first 20 minutes.

On a personal note I appreciate Kosher delis and halal restaurants or both in one and hope to visit more places of this nature.

I was just talking to my friends about how we wished we had a New York style deli in California.

The service here was incredible and they were very friendly and fast. It gives off the vibes of the New York Street deli. The pastrami is fantastic. Macaroni salad was my favorite and the potato salad was a close second.

Visited but the meat is not kosher. Other items looked OK but l left without a purchase because I was looking for a kosher pastrami sandwitch. There is no masgiach or kosher certificate. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

Wow. This place delivers. I can't tell you how happy I am to have a knish on the west coast. I had it with a little mustard on the side but wow. This stole the show for me. The matzo ball soup was fantastic. Good size and the chicken broth... fuhgeddaboudit. I had a half a roast beef sandwich with on the side with the pickle and it hit the spot. The pickle was great. I want to try the latkes and apple sauce next time I come and yes there will definitely be a next time. The home made knish literally almost brought tears to my eyes. It brought be back to NY.

I swallowed something funny in my pastrami sandwich. After looking at it found 1/2 of a label stull on a slice of tomato. They don't wash their produce....
After giving them back that piece and letting them know I swallowed the other half, they did say "my apologies" and went back about their business, after showing it to the other worker and saying "heh, he ate the other half" as if it was a joke.

Matzaball soup and pastrami sandwich is delightful. Wouldn't know about anything else because that's what I always order. My wife loves the bagel and lox.

First time here and husband enjoyed the pastrami sandwich which had thin slices of hot pastrami and deli mustard on rye bread. The sandwich choices are half or full and come with a side choice of potato or macaroni salad or coleslaw. I had the falafel pita, that had tomato and lettuce with tzatziki sauce. It was good but simple and not best I have had. The pita was a full bread and was thin enough that it fell apart while eating it and hold in the contents. My mom had the brisket sandwich and loved it, came the au jus dip. It was busy with regulars that were there. Tables and chairs were available indoors and outside. They also sell deli meats by the pound to go, breads, chopped liver and knishes.

Vegetarian options: I had the falafel sandwich in pita bread. Came with lettuce, tomato and tzatziki sauce in it.

Best Sauerkraut I’ve ever had, delicious! With a tiny taste of WASABI!!!! Yum!!!I had the kosher hotdog ? and drink ? for $6 I upgraded to Medium Coke and got a bag of jalapeño flavored kettle chips, so I paid $4 more… I was too hungry to think clearly. I ate too much ? The hot dog and regular size drink would’ve been enough ???? ouch ?

The bagels are fresh, the pastrami "to die for", the Nova lox; plentiful and fresh. This is my favorite bagel place. Frankie and the rest of the crew provide superlative customer service. Thank you.
