I lived in Japan my wife is Japanese we've been waiting for a true Japanese style sushi bar and sit down restaurant. This place has all the traditional bento boxes. It also has all the traditional sushi dinner sets.

We are enjoying this place so much that we sometimes go a couple times a week either lunch or dinner.

This place will not disappoint if you know traditional Japanese food.

The first time I came with my business partners for HomeHealth and WoundCare (fellow nurses)the waitress spilled a miso soup on me . She was so embarrassed like me 😀. But as a considerate group of professionals we even gave her more tips after bringing our bill that includes the spilled miso soup . Despite of that unfortunate first visit I still dine here because I like the foods at this restaurant. The best Japanese food in South Orange County for me. Everything’s fresh.

I’ve been looking for my new spot for a minute and after two dinners at Kotobuki I think I’ve found it. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had, chef Yasu is a master of his craft.

Amazing sushi, friendly and cozy atmosphere.

My go to place when I’m in town from Tennessee. The sushi is outstanding!! I have been going here for years. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.

The fish is so fresh, delicious and tender! For the amount of food that you get, which is a lot on the two item combo, it's a great deal! Sushi was also delicious and fresh. Service was excellent and fast. Love this place!
