Found this little hidden gem recently from a co-worker. There is a dearth of good authentic tacos in south OC, so I was very excited to find Mercado Corona. They are incredibly generous with their portions. I typically only get one taco, and it honestly satisfies me. What got me excited was that they have sopes, which most taco places don't have. I have had it with a variety of their meats, but my favorite is all pastor. Their pastor is chunkier and more flavorful than other pastors. I highly recommend it. I also love their chicharrón and their cabeza. But no matter what, Carlos and their wonderful and friendly staff will treat you right. Please try them out.

In general you can find what you are looking for there but the most important thing is the great staff they have there, very friendly, that is why I give it five stars, it is very difficult nowadays to find a place that has this kind of staff, it is a five star staff. stars

Very good selection of items from Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, and Colombia. It could be cheaper.
Excellent selection of latin american food, wine, beer, grocery items from almost every part of latin america. You can order freshly made empanadas & other food from their deli including a fully stocked meat department for those south American cuts of meat that you cannot find anywhere else.
Highly recommended if you are latin American or enjoy latin american food and culture. They even have tasty desserts and snacks at low prices.

Store is very tight and difficult to move around even with a small shopping cart.They charge customers a fee for using a credit card. Even though they charge more than other markets of the same classification.
