Was visiting my family back in orange county and found this place on our morning walk with our 1 year old. Oh my gosh, this place is amazing. So well stocked with goods from different Latin American countries. There were three different brands available just for pao de quejo! And the food? Jeezy creezy we were in heaven! So much so that we walked there every morning four days in a row. Lamb birria gordita on fresh dough? Yah, that is a thing they have. Plátanos rellenos? Oh my goodness yes. Loads of choices. Everything was dank. Told my sister about it and couldn't believe she's never been since it's down the street from her. I envy people who get to eat here regularly. Also the staff was super lovely and helpful to us gringos! Ugh, I want a gordita right now. I miss it already!

I enjoyed shopping at this small market place. I came to purchase some Latino & Brazilian ingredients, and I could find easily. Their prices were acceptable. All staffs were friendly.

Found this little hidden gem recently from a co-worker. There is a dearth of good authentic tacos in south OC, so I was very excited to find Mercado Corona. They are incredibly generous with their portions. I typically only get one taco, and it honestly satisfies me. What got me excited was that they have sopes, which most taco places don't have. I have had it with a variety of their meats, but my favorite is all pastor. Their pastor is chunkier and more flavorful than other pastors. I highly recommend it. I also love their chicharrón and their cabeza. But no matter what, Carlos and their wonderful and friendly staff will treat you right. Please try them out.

In general you can find what you are looking for there but the most important thing is the great staff they have there, very friendly, that is why I give it five stars, it is very difficult nowadays to find a place that has this kind of staff, it is a five star staff. stars
