I can't believe how the following situation was handled at this place. My co-workers came here for lunch and I asked them to bring me back the "Mother Nature" sandwich with fries. I would like to add that they still currently list the Mother Nature sandwich on their menu online. My co-workers go and eat and put in my order to go. The waitress says they no longer offer that sandwich but they have a veggie burger. I don't eat any meat, dairy, or eggs and in many cases veggie patties are made with egg and/or dairy so when my co-worker called to ask me if I wanted that I decided against it and asked if they can just make any type of veggie sandwich as in two pieces of bread with your typical lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado...any type of veggies they are willing to slap on some bread for me. When my co-workers asked the waitress if they could do something like that she said "we normally could but we're really busy right now". So guess what, I got no sandwich. I was in shock when they came back and told me. What if I had wanted a veggie burger to go? That would have taken longer than just sandwich fixins on freakin bread!

A local neighborhood bar. Warm family atmosphere. Good assortment of beers on tap with generous pours. The skirt steak is to die for as are all the appetizers and daily specials. The wait staff is amazing and attentive.

Many tv's for watching sports, decent food and drink prices. Not many customers during daytime but busy during major sport events
Last night I took my family to Player's on recommendation. What a great place. So glad I found it. It was a refreshing taste of community. The service was so personal and friendly. The owner was actually working the floor and bar- hustling with a smile on her face and treating everyone like friends and neighbors. The place has been here for 20+ years so they must be doing something right. Love the tv selection and am looking forward to making this my GO-TO for fun sporting events with a group of friends. Some could say it needs to be updated, but frankly I love it and its just an indicator that this is not some new business venture where everything is new and looks like an Apple store. Keep it the way it is and save it for those that still love a real community bar and grill. We will be back. By the way, the poblano burger was great. Sourdough toasted yet still soft enough to take a big bite! I also love that the "medium" beer takes two hands ;-).
