Ate their on Monday because I really wanted a burrito so my great niece picked this place based on the ratings. The burritos were overpriced for what you got. Yes, they were large but half the filling rice which overpowered the asada and beans and not worth $16.50. I also didn't like the grilled tortilla not what I'm used to and I have been eating and making burritos for 60+ years. We sat at a back outdoor table and my ankles were totally flea bitten by the time I left. Don'tknow what I expected considering it is attached to the church???

Tucked away off the 5 freeway on the campus of St. George's Episcopal Church in Laguna Hills, Tacos de Birria Estilo Guadalajara makes some of the best birria tacos in Southern California, and definitely among the top in Orange County. Get the 3 taco special with consomme: the broth is rich, spicy, and tangy, the tortillas just crisp enough to give it a great chew but still soft and pliable enough to hold the meat and onions and cilantro. The birria is soft and juicy, the onions and cilantro crisp and fresh, and the tomatillo salsa the perfect amount of tang and spice. One of the dining experiences of the summer. Don't sleep on this place.

I recently discovered a fantastic little spot, Tacos De Birria Estilo Guadalajara, tucked away inside the St. George Episcopal Church parking lot. My GPS initially had me confused, but a small, hidden sign in a planter confirmed I was in the right place.
The tacos were absolutely delicious! I had the special, which included three Tacos de Birria with Consome. Each bite was a delightful reminder of how great this hidden gem truly is. The outdoor seating area is charming, with colorful papel picado banners and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of options, and the service was quick and friendly. If you're looking for authentic and incredibly tasty birria tacos, this is the place to go!
