Closed when they should be ipen but the doors open and its dark inside. 1 sketchy guy in the dark saying "i think he's closed"Stay away. Either a front for illegal activity or just a p.o.s. owner

One star is from very friendly staff member that helped me to my car. The lacking stars is this doesn’t feel like a tommy original it’s more like a bagel shop w some tommy options and there is no beef sandwich.
What a hidden gem. Some of the best Pastrami I've had outside of NY. I'll definitely be returning for more. Glad I only got 1 sandwich.....it was perfect to share with the hubs!☘️❤️

I had read the reviews but for some reason I wanted to try it for myself. A whole sandwich was $18.95 plus tax. It was not large and there was not a lot of meat. The sandwich was worth maybe $12 max. I looked at the Santa Ana's location and they sell the same sandwich for $15. Very expensive for nothing special. Luckily I checked in which gave me a free side. That made it a little more reasonably priced but I wasn't a big fan of the potato salad. The music was loud during lunch time when I went and it was all in Spanish. I was a little surprised by that. There was only two other people in there so this business doesn't seem to be doing very well. I had an ok extreme with the bagel place in the past but the whole Tommy Pastrami situation seems poorly done and over priced. I would have been a regular customer if it was reasonably priced or worth the money but neither was true. This was a really bad experience and I felt like a fool for stopping by. When I saw the prices on the menu I asked for clarity that it was $18.95 just for a sandwich. I also asked how big the sandwich was and it was a 6" sub. I was tempted to leave but I figured I was there and it would have been more weird to leave.
There are better places to enjoy pastrami but this is the best in this area of town. Juicy and tender, not dry nor rubbery. Flavorful. The place itself could have been better, hence the 4 stars. I have not tried the Brisket and the other sandwiches since I come here only for the Pastrami and will surely be coming back for more.
Definitely not worth the price go to Santa ana better quality and don't pay more for the same item
Tommy Pastrami is amazing, this location however is terrible. Food took like 25 minutes (and we were literally the only ones there). They were out of everything. Half of the soda fountains weren’t working, out of mustard. Just a mess.Save yourself a hassle and go to Santa Ana. Tommy should shut this location down.
A bit on the pricey side, fifteen dollars for a sandwich and another three dollars if you want cheese. At least the tomato and lettuce were included, condiments were not on the sandwich but the squeeze packages were given after requested. The guy at the counter was really nice and the place was clean. I realize prices are going up, but this seemed excessive.
This place use to be awesome. They stopped selling the brisket which I heard and enjoyed as being their top sales.

I was craving a decent pastrami sandwich. I googled and found Tommy Pastrami. So I decided to give it a try. When I walked in the place seemed a bit dingy. Like it could use a good deep clean. But I didn't let that stop me.I am not from NY. And would never claim to know what authentic pastrami from a NY deli tastes like.I ordered a half pastrami sandwich with some potato salad. The pictures all over the place showed sandwiches with literally mounds of meat. Which is why I order the half sandwich thinking I could never finish a whole sandwich.Well much to my dismay, as you can see from the attached picture, the meat was no where as the pictures. I mean the pastrami was good (nothing great), but no where what I anticipated. The potato salad was bomb. Nicely chilled. Great flavors.I gave this place a 3. It was just OK.
This Bagel Me! and Tommy Pastrami New York Delicatessen combo is an amazing New York style deli and bagel joint. I got a cheddar bagel with cream cheese, red onion, tomato, and cucumber, and it was truly delicious. I also tried a potato knish, which I wasn’t a fan of, but my sister got the fries and those were perfect if you’re looking for a potato side. I will be honest, the prices for some of the sandwiches did scare me a little (the most expensive one was $30!) but I didn’t order one so I can’t speak to how big they are or if they’re worth the price. I can say for sure though that I will be back in the future.
I went to Bagel Me! I haven't triedTommy Pastrami's. Bagel Me! wasn't very busy at 9:00am but certainly got busier fast. The service is only behind the counter but was quick and friendly. The meal was a big one. I wanted fruit but they only had bananas. The lady let me have one instead of the potatoes. Three of us in the party and all thought the food was good. We will go back again!
My first time in This place! Good food! a little expensive
If you love pastrami it's a must try.
