Best place in town for delicious macaroons and sweet treats. This bakery even sells breakfast which I will be back to try.

Parking, lot... that's great If I can park, already higher, I tend to rate Visited today with a friend for a little post birthday fun Sometimes, who your with matters more when all is said and done We both ordered the waffle with mixed berry, whole and half Upon coffee order, they did not have decaf Cappuccino and vanilla latte with ice Strong, but I'm not sure we'd go out of our way to coffee order twice The waffle has a grainy texture with a touch of sweet The presentation was nice; it felt like a breakfast treat I did not try any of the items from the bakery display But, I watched others order them from far away Based on the appearance factor alone I would say the pastry chef is very talented, for I have never made a whole layer cake or macaron on my own For a date or meet-up, it is a cute spot I would recommend giving it at least one shot xoxo - Op

Love the exquisite food and coffee.Service could be better. I was profiled as a Russian speaker at least twice, which I’m not. While I spoke English, they continued to respond in Russian.Music was a bit annoying and distracting. Sounded like cheap house with repeat beat which was just unpleasant.More than anything though I appreciate the food this bakery makes. It’s made with love and attention to detail. Service and music are just suggestions for improvement.

I wish there was a way to see what they currently have for the day before you go. There is several photos of items on Instagram and here on Yelp that are not available. There was no tarts, no trifle, no eclairs, no chantilly cake, there was no croissants with raspberry or chocolate. What we did end up getting was good but was ultimately disappointed with the choices and we went at 9am on a Saturday.

Experience authentic Russian patisserie at its finest, where the star attraction is undoubtedly the exquisite honey cake, infused with the pure essence of raw honey. What sets this honey cake apart is its delicate sweetness, allowing the rich flavor of the honey to shine through. But that's not all; their pistachio strawberry meringue cake stole the show for me. The meringue layer wasn't overly sweet, and the layers of cake were perfectly balanced, showcasing the skill of the pastry chef. The ambience adds to the charm with its super cute and cozy atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to while away an afternoon. This hidden gem of a patisserie in Laguna Hills is a must-visit for any dessert lover.

This review will be short & sweet! - Lavender latte: Excellent! - Napoleon: Excellent! - Ambiance: Excellent! - Decore: Beautiful! - Service: Horrible! Dear the rude person who helped me today, if you are the owner, you are in the wrong business! If you are the employee, not sure how you have a job with this attitude! If you don't like dealing with people, then find another job. As a PHARMACIST who deals with the ruddest customers on the daily basis, your job as a barista is the funnest job in the world which should consist of making sure the customers have everything they need to enjoy their coffee and pastries. First of all, upon entering the store, the rude person did not really say hi or anything which was not ok but whatever. After getting our drinks and pastry I asked for an extra set of utensils which I got a dirty look for. I was hesitant to ask my next request because I thought she is gonna jump over the counter and hit me or something. I did it anyway and she looked so annoyed that I wondered how these people have a job, honestly. Regardless, thank God Philz coffee just opened 2 miles away and Chaupain bakery is just 2 mins away, so good luck keeping your customers to come back!

I've wanted to come here for AGES and I am kicking myself for not visiting months ago! First and foremost the food: the napoleon was delicious and authentic. I felt so nostalgic eating the flakey layers and sipping in between each bite. The cappuccino was luscious and absolutely a fantastic pairing with the pastry. I've missed proper bakery cafes ever since our local bakery cafe shut down years ago, and it's so refreshing to see one with classics like napoleon and macarons done right! The barista was very polite and kind! She even recommended the napoleon to me and brought the treats out on a little tray. I'm blown away by the level of customer service offered at this lovely little place. Just so old school and classy. There is ample seating and chargers, and it wasn't crowded at all--there was one other customer around at 2:30. The ambiance was really nice: music was upbeat but mellow, restroom was SPOTLESS and pleasant, and the seating was comfortable! I will definitely be returning here in the future. Absolutely phenomenal and worth every penny.

Pros: clean, fresh, inside seating, soft relaxing decorations, plenty of parking, good breakfast bakery selections, lady owner positive engagement. Cons: ordered Honey cake black currant to go, portion too smal for $9.5 , I felt young lady who sliced the cake gave me half of the slice, taste was too creamy and couldn't taste the cake layers, felt like Honey mouse. Taste was good but too creamy. In Europe taste more original. Tiramisue cup $8.5 too much for cup size Server could use genuine smile Overall: go try it Thank you owner for a good job, wishing you all the best. Would appreciate more lunch items.

Love this place! The staff is friendly and helpful. The black currant macaroons are delicious and the pistachio croissant is amazing! Their coffee is also some of the best I've tried.

This is my inaugural visit to this bakery. Overall 3.5 stars. Don't try to order any other way than in person. The staff did not answer the phone for the 2 days that I called and was very delayed in answering my inquiries via multiple social media outlets. On to their pastries. They are pretty and super tasty. Presentation is . The textures are on point. The rolled croissants were crisp and flaky, and the berry and pistachio cream filing were delicious . Made even better paired with their honey latte. Now, for the main event, their honey cake. I've never tasted anything like it. It was melt in your mouth goodness with a bit of tang and sweetness from the cream and the berry filling. It will surely be a crowd pleaser.

We went hiking in the Laguna Canyon area on the Christmas Day and hunting for a coffee shop afterwards. Many were closed for the holiday. We were so happy to find this place still open. Well, actually they were closed for the day, but the young lady was so kind and let us in to get some to go items. We got pate choux chocolate; cheese cake; and honey cake with black currants, and a cup of cappuccino. The pate choux was very good, moist, not so sweet, it melts in your mouth, highly recommend! It goes very well with the cappuccino. We will definitely come back for more deserts and brunch. This will be an alternative place for Chaupain in the area.

Absolutely delicious deserts that are beautifully presented! Taste like back home in Europe! They use real ingredients and that's why everything is so good! Pricey but worth it!
