I used to go to Chronic Tacos a long time ago when I worked near Westwood and when Wee Man owned one in Redondo Beach. I enjoyed the food back then and was happy that I still feel that way. This location is on the old Freebirds at South Bay Pavilion. I'm happy that another good Mexican food place filled the vacancy. The place is very bright and clean feeling. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The owner came to check on my family and I to see how everything went. We were happy with everything and let her know. She was appreciative and asked us to let our friends know that they are there. She gave us a couple coupons for a free taco too.

love the burritos & yes they are 100% authentic Caleb & crew are awesome, food is the best , service is amazing and restaurant is always spotless clean inside & out, and students get a 10% discount by showing their Id . can't get any better than that. Bella

Always love coming here! Everyone is always so inviting and the food is great I never leave hungry. Romero was awesome what a great employee. My burrito was fantastic never short on the portions. You can tell the people there really care about where they work and the food reflects that. 10/10 experience!

I was there on Jan 2,2024 evening I want the owner to know that pictured on the wall I enjoy this business tonight's experience left a negative impression about your business and makes me question if you even care about your loyal customers. I think that if your going to cater to the paying customers who take the time to drive to your business and want to dine at Cronic Taco you shouldn't be so Stingy with the condiments that make your food what it is I asked for spacific Salas qty amount because I had three separate order and the guy assisting me with my order was policing how many salsas I was aloud ?? Are you kidding me ?? Who dose that if your staff is going to continue to treat paying customer this way I will never come here again !! When I got to my house and was telling my realitives that looks like they didn't give me the salasa for your order and then they begins to say they also had similar incidents at this restaurant I was thinking how ridiculous and this business has no customer service?? to treat the people who allow you to be in business by stopping in to eat this food there are many restaurants around Cronic Taco who know how to treat their paying customers, And I thinking it's disgusting if it's closing time and all your salsa are filled up what's it going to hurt to give an extra salsa ?? and if your going to reuse those Salas for the next day Is pretty bad . Makes me wonder if the meat is re used for the next day nasty . Also train your staff to give the receipts to their customers with their order ! I Hope changes are made, and don't be a stingy low class business.

You won't find a better grilled shrimp taco or burrito anywhere, but be sure you get their special sauce. Same deal with the fish tacos. Haven't had a need to order anything else.

3 stars for what would've been five. Employees inside were awesome when I arrived but then I got home and was super disappointed. I nicely asked and tipped, for just a flour tortilla on the side. That's it. I would've paid for it but there was no option online. Then I paid for extra salsa also not in the bag ....that one stung even though it's just 50¢, my husband and I haven't ate out in months for budget reasons, this was a splurge for us. Sad I know. But if that's sad, you should've seen my face when I opened the bag. Sincerely, sad and crying over nothing but the principle

I've given this place several chances and they've blown it. The first bad experience was when I ordered shrimp tacos and they didn't even cook the tortillas; I'm not sure how they even folded them because when I got home and tried eating them, they just all fell a part (and not the saggy falling apart). Yesterday i ordered 2 burritos and not paying attention to the 2nd because I was telling the other guy my toppings for the 1st; not sure if they completely forgot the protein, or they took it off, because the kid was struggling to fold it, so he took it to the other end of the counter, for who knows what; thought maybe to swap out tortillas because it ripped on him was my first guess. Unfortunately, that burrito was for my wife and it basically was a bean, rice and guacamole burrito. Thanks Chronic tacos for your outstanding service.

Best place for catering Mexican food in the area! The food was very fresh, healthy and amazing. I ordered the Taco deluxe bar with the chicken and fajita vegetables since there were vegetarians in my group. It came with black beans, Spanish rice, the best guacamole, salsa and dips that were delicious. They also went above and beyond with service, offering to deliver since we were nearby without any additional fees. They also included all the serving utensils. Great food and great service. Definitely order for your next event or lunch :)

Always love coming here to get a massive burrito! Went in this Wednesday evening after work and it did not disappoint! There was a nice young lady working which I didn't catch her name. But she was very welcoming and friendly. Honestly, I may make it round 2 tonight.

This place was a little confusing with their ordering process. The food was worth it. I ordered a 2 plate taco dish with the vegan meat and churros. The sauce is good and spicy. I would go here again! There are only a few seats outside. The space inside is cramped.

1.5 Stars I have been to Chronic Tacos multiple times and without any problems. I enjoy their burrito and think they are better than Chipotle. However, on my last visit a week ago, I ordered their Surf & Turf burrito. They do not have the shrimp pre-cooked, so they have to cook the portion of shrimp as people order it. I don't mind waiting and actually prefer they cook the shrimp as we order it. But, please do not use shrimp that fell on the floor! From standing in line, I had seen one of the older employees go to the stove, reach down into the drawer to grab shrimp. And one of the shrimp fell on the floor. He should of thrown it away! Not tossing it into the cooking pan and serving it to me. I still ate the burrito that night. But even though a week to 2 weeks have passed, I still remember this. Cleanliness is important and makes me question their sanitation, if they are willing to serve me that.
