Ordered a $15,99 chicken kebab and the food portion was so ridiculously small. Forgot to take a picture because I was in shock and speechless by how little food I got.
I ordered a chicken salad from Grill Hut for $19, and unfortunately, the only thing that was edible was the chicken. The salad itself was old and brown, which was really disappointing. I didn’t bother going back in person but called and left a message for the manager. It’s been a while now, and no one has gotten back to me. With this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon.

The meat was good but they did not give us Humus for it or the pita bread making the meal incomplete. So disappointing after you leave to find no Humus which is a complete fail for a Mediterranean eatery like this. The customer should not have to micromanage the workers to make sure they give you what should be included in the meal as stated on the menu, especially for the high price of this take out food.

I ordered a few trays for my husband’s birthday and it was a huge success! The chicken was so tender and tasty as well as the steak kabobs. Then we got a side of the delicious rice and salad along with the hummus and bread. Was a huge hit and I thought we would have leftovers, but nope everyone went back for seconds.

We have been coming to grill hut for many years but this was our first time catering for a party and as always, great customer service and delicious food. Prices are much more reasonable compared to other restaurants. I’d definitely recommend catering your next even with them or just grabbing a bite to eat!

So disappointed! This is the $15 Chicken Kabob take-out with two sides. I bought the most expensive dish and got the least amount of food. The rest of my team said the Ground Beef Kabob was super dry. We will not be ordering here again.

Absolutely amazing!!!! We used the Grill Hut for catering at a park wedding. From the first time I reached out to the restraunt, the manager Maz has been helpful and diligentent in providing information about the food options and the best way to get a delicious meal that would feed all our guests, yet not leave us with too much of an excess. He followed up regularly, provided active communication along the way and made the entire experience a great one. We were planning this wedding on a budget and with the help of Maz and the Grill Hut we gave our guests a delicious eating experience that topped your average 'wedding food'. We served our guests the chicken kabobs, steak kabobs and ground beef with salad and Balsmati rice. So GOOD! Their house salad dressing and Hot Sauce was an absolute hit.
I would highly recommend Grill Hut to anyone looking to cater an event.

When you are in the mood for fresh kabobs on mesquite fire and tasty basmati rice, visit Grill Hut in Aliso Viejo. The food is fine, the service is good, but the seating inside is limited and the charcoal fume is noticeable. However, the seating in the open air outside is beautiful and relaxing. The restaurant serves Mediterranean food ?. We tried the Persian kabab “steak” with saffron rice and salad ?, it was good.

A friend told me about this restaurant, otherwise I would not have tried it. It’s located in a shopping center that I drive by all the time. I decided to cater for a group of 25 guests and the service and delivery were excellent! It felt like a family run business, everyone was so kind and went out of their way to make sure my order was perfect. The food was good, especially for the price, so I will be coming back.
