I always get excited about a trip to Handel's! The 4 scoop sampler is a great value and get to try different flavors.

This must be the 5th handles I've been to and it as as consistant and great as all the others.

It was our first visit, and we were impressed! The service was excellent, and the ice cream was delicious. They offer a wide variety of flavors, and I'm already looking forward to going back to try more.

I give up! The service here is so incredibly lacking. Whoever is hiring their employees ought to do a better job in selecting employees to represent their company. Oh, that’s right… the owners must feel that their quality product is in such demand that they don’t have to care!

I walked in at 11:00 AM hoping to buy a gift card. The tall girl with brown hair, super bushy eyebrows, brown eyes, and thick lips had NO social skills and no clue how to treat a customer. As I stood at the counter hoping for some assistance, this girl just stood in front of me and stared at me. I finally asked about buying a for a gift card. Her reply was, “Amount”? Wow! I looked at her and said that a normal hello would be appropriate. Handels ice cream is “supposed” to be a quality place. I left the store and will take my business elsewhere.

Simply the best ice cream. My only issue with this location is that they will not put two flavors into a quart order.. the Handels on Lake Forest will do that

We tried pistachio, birthday cake, and cherry vanilla flavors with waffle cone and were disappointed with the ice cream quality. Price was relatively high ($16 for one small and one medium ice creams). I am highly surprised with great reviews posted as that was the reason I chose this place. Ice cream tastes like sugar syrup with artificial flavors. However, staff was friendly and respectful.
