The food was fair. We had to send the lobster dinner back because it was tough and tasteless and order a different entrée. The inside was cold and required us to keep our jackets on the entire time we were there. Lots of open doors and windows caused the cool temps. Really preferred the old Hendrix menu and ambiance. It has lost its upscale feel and presents more like a fast food chain. I don't think it will last in this area with this approach.
We've eaten at Hendrix many times, usually indulging in Happy Hour before seeing a movie at Cinepolis, which we always enjoyed. This time we went for dinner. The restaurant was recently sold. We knew this. The menu (including HH) has been changing . We knew that. The new owners and staff are trying to figure it all out. The servers are very friendly and try hard. The bartender is good. The chef is talented. The food was good. Unfortunately, the staff has not gotten on the same path, yet. It took a while to get our drinks. Our appetizer took even longer, only to have our entrees come out when we were starting our appetizer. Then, in the middle of our meal, a different server brought out two entrees ready to serve us! Our dessert (donut holes) also took a long time to come out of the kitchen. The dessert was not served as described on the menu. It did not seem fresh and was not enjoyable. We did not complain. Every other table around us was complaining or sending food back. Our server was getting slammed and handling it well. Hopefully, they will all learn to work together. The new owner should know that the old menu was great and staff were working well.
The fish was tough and impossible to eat! The side dishes were mush. Went there because we loved their Prime Rib but they discontinued it but did not note ALL the changes to the menu online. 1/10 not worth the money! If you can't cut your fish without a knife don't serve it!!
We used to enjoy dinner at Hendrix. Unfortunately, the last two visits have not been good. I'm wondering if ownership changed. The menu has changed, and it seems like they're serving cheaper quality food but at high prices. Service now takes forever to even get water at the table! Staff seem disinterested, slow and inattentive. Luckily, during our last visit, our waiter was courteous enough to tell us that the kitchen was very backed up. We were surrounded by tables of patrons complaining that they had been waiting well over an hour for their food! Some people walking out. The manager didn't seem to care. We enjoyed a small appetizer, and decided not to order dinner at that point.
I've been meaning to try this restaurant out for sometime and unfortunately my expectations were not exceeded nor met...the food was really average and a bit disappointing...I'm willing to give it one more chance as I don't like to judge something or someone for that matter after only one interaction. I'm optimistic my expectations can be exceeded next time.
food was bland. waitress had little to no knowledge of menu. very empty and we totally understand why unfortunately. this place is next door to our house so quite a bummer
The food came very slowly and cold and preparation was upsetting We want to give this restaurant another try but after the dinner, we will nit be back. The server was embarrassed also with the food he has to serve. Items the menu but also not available. Something has to change or it will be out if business.
The experience was pretty average in terms of food. I the calamari was slightly overcooked but decent flavor. The lemon chicken was disappointingly bland but the portion was huge for the price. Overall the food lacked flavor but made up in size somewhat. Too expensive for what you get but not the worst.

Went there on a Saturday Night, 5pm reservation. Ordered the Chinese Chicken Lettuce cups. After 20min, the waiter said the Chef didn't like the chicken and would not serve them. So we ordered the Charcuterie Board... the meat was dry and smelled horrible, the rest of the board looked like it sat in a cooler for a few days prior to serving. We ordered dinner, pizza for the GF and Steak for me. I ordered mushrooms instead of the mashed potatoes. After another 20min, I was informed they were out of mushrooms. Finally, get our food and the steak was disgusting... ordered medium rare, got well done and it was drenched in some nasty sauce..... definitely won't be going back... not even a 1-star.
Great steak! And the corn bread is fantastic!! We had a fabulous waiter, Juan.

We decided last minute to go to Hendrix, could not have asked for a better time from the food to the service. You really can not go wrong with ordering anything from this establishment.
Misa and Lindsay were great bartenders and were always attentive with great recommendations.
We started with the calamari and it was cooked perfectly.
My fiancé got the off menu special, Atlantic Salmon & risotto and it was delicious!
I had the Burger and it came out exactly how I wanted it, I would highly recommend either of these dishes!
We finished off with the Espresso Bread Pudding and this was the first time we have had this, it did not disappoint, I will be back just for this!
The chef Luis came out personally to check if we enjoyed everything and if he could get us anything. I would recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.

I have ordered here a few times since it’s near my house and I tried their beef pasta before but this time they gave me PORK sausage pasta instead of beef. I grew up without eating PORK, and i can taste the difference. Gross! Plus they put bread inside the box with pasta which made it soggy and turns out only half portion. What a scam! This is not my first time having issue with their deliveries, so I finally decided to write about it.

I am giving a 1 star not because of the food or service but purely on ethical behavior from the management/owner of this operation.
I own a small screen printing and embroidery company locally and Patrick, manager, reached out for my company to provide their staff uniforms on 5/23/2024. When the job was finished on 6/6/2024 , Patrick referred to another person, Rob Entler to pay the invoice. He must be the financial firm that's funding the new ownership. Rob asked for the wiring info and Patrick has screen shot the payment. After few days later, payment hasn't gone through because it turns out Rob entered the routing info incorrectly. So I asked them to resend the payment. They have ghosted me an made no effort to pay as of today 7/6/2024. I have made many attempts via email and text for them to settle the invoice.
I mean no harm to their staff and I'm sure they have no idea they are wearing stolen uniforms. Unfortunately, poor leadership has forced me to post here hoping to get their attention. Until then, I will continue to share my experience. I run a very ethical business and it's really sad to know that companies like this are stealing and bullying small businesses.
Please don't support businesses like this.
We went Saturday at around 1 pm. Our waiter was very nice and took the time to talk with my elderly parents and be very kind and patient. We will be back!
We haven't dined at Hendrix for a few years. When the first opened we were not impressed. But I was lured back with an offer of a free appetizer. I felt like giving them another try. That email must have gone out to a lot of people. The place was packed service was very slow. I will say the old fashioned was good & the wine pour was decent. We had 2 crab cakes the size of meatballs & a small basket of fried calamari - definitely happy hour “sizes”. For dinner we had the Seabass but it was very fishy tasting & served in a sauce or broth that was very watery.
