We went to Legends last night with another couple and loved our meals. We were first disappointed that the main dining room was closed due to a special wine tasting dinner. We had reserved using Open Table and there was no notice that dining room would be closed and seating in the bar was available. We had arrived early to take advantage of their good value Happy Hour, so remaining ain the bar for dinner was fine. ( just unexpected). The food was all very delicious and the service...
I feel like this is an overlooked gem, the food, the service, the ambience, the view - all 5 star, something that in South County is kind of hard to find outside of the beach hotels and a few Laguna restaurants. Weekdays are perfect, with devoted locals and weekends are not too crowded. Highly recommend anything on the menu, but the specials have always been excellent and not to be missed, especially the seafood.
Had another wonderful experience at Legends in Laguna Niguel. Nestled in a canyon about a mile from the ocean sits this gem of a restaurant. We've been i believe 4 times, and each time has been wonderful.
