I visited here for Sunday lunch. It is a pleasant surprise to find an old style Chinese restaurant near by. The foods were good and the owner was attentive. I will visit again.

So the food here is consistently good, and the service is consistently horrible. The last two times I've ordered, once for take out, the other to eat there, the waitress had a horrible attitude. Today, while shopping next door at Whole Foods, thought I'd run in with my mom and have some war won tonight soup. I've been feeling under the weather, and have had little to no appetite. Soup sounded good. We sat down, order the soup, and the waitress came by 3 separate times in Under 10 minutes asking what else we wanted. I just didn't feel up to an entree and asked for our check. When she brought it, she yelled at us for not ordering enough. Mind you, it was 4:45pm, we were the first people there, and sat for exactly 15 minutes. She said there was a minimum to sit down (there is nothing stated anywhere stating a minimum) and we paid in cash with a 20% tip. She went on and on to the point the other patrons were now listening in as well. I said we were going to order something to go on top of our soup, but at that point, being as this is not the first time she was downright rude, I said I thought any business was good business? She cursed us as we walked out. Why would a restaurant, with ample open seating, and patrons who were there 15 minutes, make such a scene? I'm never going back.

Ginger is an amazing owner!! she's literally the most welcoming restaurant owner i ever met. Not only her food is delicious, they offer GLUTEN FREE dishes which i have been struggling to find. We ordered the orange chicken and egg fried rice (both are GLUTEN free and YUMMY) will come back again.

Very solid Chinese American food with great staff. We got a variety of soups and noodle stir fries and they were cooked well. Not too greasy, a little salty, but otherwise tasty. Big portions and the staff was very attentive. Only downside was that their tea was very weak and was in a cheap tea bag. Otherwise, nice cozy interior and conveniently located next to Whole Foods.

I come here for lunch about once a month. Service is always quick and food is relatively consistent. My only critique is that sometimes the orange chicken is a little tough. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant always appears clean and appetizing. I would recommend, .

The best Chinese food we have had in Orange County! Everything from the pan fried dumplings, Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken to Pork Fried Rice is fantastic

This is seriously terrific take out Chinese food. First, the dumplings are amazing. Huge and flavorful. Next the orange chicken is one of best I have had in years. The sweet and sour chicken was good too - classic style and a good amount too. But my favorite item was the garlic broccoli. I could not believe how good it was - powerful garlic flavor and perfectly cooked broccoli (not a mushy one in the bunch). No question - we will be back.

We found this place open for lunch on a rainy Monday. Food selection of lunch specials. I had the chicken noodle soup. Ordered this specifically for the noodles, but the chicken, veggies and broth were really the stars of the show. Chicken was tender, veggies crisp and fresh, broth was warm and tasty. Husband had the chow mein special and he said it was also good. Waitress was busy, but we were not forgotten.

This review is ONLY for take out. The food remains better than average but the wait for a scheduled pickup is exceedingly long. It took at least 30 minutes longer than scheduled. Besides, the server was excessively brusque. One good thing is that like many places now, they do accept Apple Pay.

Ordered the Peking duck today. It’s so delicious! It’s crispy outside and meat is soft. And, the price is quite reasonable, comparing to $40+ in other places. You know what I mean. Service is great as well. Very friendly and kind. Definitely will recommend this restaurant!
