The donuts here are incredible. The texture is quite unique—it’s more like a pastry than a typical donut, which really sets them apart from other places. Since I visited right before closing, I missed out on a lot of flavors. I’m definitely coming back earlier next time to grab all the different layered dough varieties!

This is not my first review, but this place deserves another.
I came in the morning and the employee Dakota went above and beyond with her customer service and helped me take the almost 2 dozens of donuts and iced coffee to my car. Made sure everything was in place and wished me a great day. I've never experienced this level of customer service before, I'm very grateful for her.
The donuts are absolutely DEVINE,and this is my favorite sweet spot in whole OC.

I stop by today at 7:20 to purchase a dozen donuts for someone's birthday in my office. I've never been here before and was surprised to find them closed. I called the number, and no one answered. This is super disappointing. I then called an hour later to see if there was a manager I could speak with, and a girl named Jennifer told me she was the only one in the office and had locked the door since she was by herself. I don't do reviews very often, but I own a business and I would want to know if I had an issue that was disappointing clients. Business owners work so hard to get clients, so I'm not sure what happened here. Their hours are 6:30 and not being open at 7:20 means there is a serious problem

Drove 30 minutes to get a gluten free donut for my son. Got there at 7 on a Sunday, 30 minutes after they opened. The place looked closed. Asked for a gluten free donut and she went to the back to check because weirdly enough unlike 99% of donut stores they had literally nothing in the display cases up front. Came back and said they don’t have any gluten free donuts. They couldn’t care less about breaking that news to my 5 year old. Lame excuse of a business. Won’t return. Should have read the reviews before wasting time here.

Came here twice and very poor experience both times. The first time it was very crowded and I waited a long time to order a gluten free donut. I then waited about 10 minutes for it to be made, and was then told that they actually didn’t have any. The girl couldn’t figure out how to refund me and kept offering me a regular donut in its place.

I tried again this morning and was told they were out of gluten free donuts, but he said he could make me a keto donut, so I said that’s fine. I waited for him to make it and said “just to be sure, this is gluten free, yes?” To which he said no, it’s not. I have no idea why he would think a donut containing gluten would be a good substitute for my gluten free donut. I told him I wish he’d told me before me waiting for it and he said “oh yeah no worries”. No apology for wasting my time.

It’s also worth noting this was at 8am so I think they just don’t actually make gluten free donuts.

Incompetent and poorly managed. I would never go back. Management lacks organization and customer service.

Hugely disappointing. Donuts are seriously yucky and gross. My coffee was given to me Luke warm almost cold and stale. I threw it in the trash. We took a couple bites of each of the 4 kinds of donuts we got (French toast/ maple bacon/ bourbon/ blueberry) and those went into the trash. I spent $24 for 4 donuts and a very small cup of disgusting coffee..

I had been wanting to try this place but we have a place nearby that we have gone to for years that is special to us and has the absolute yummiest best donuts ever! I talked my kids into at least trying this place once. Then when they reluctantly gave in and we experienced this obviously disappointing.

So, we left and went straight to Aliso Viejo Donuts to get real food! 🤣 Literally straight there instead. I got our usual 2 ham/cheese croissants, chocolate bar, apple fritter, a glaze, an Acaii smoothie and a large very hot and delicious cup of coffee all for $30.

So Parlor Donuts if you’re going to come into our neighborhood with a cute place, try to hype up your food to the status you claim at least try to meet the bar because you have completely missed the opportunity truly… even mediocre would be a step up from just yuck and never wanting to come back. What a shame for such a great location and cute cafe ambience to waste on such terrible food and horrible coffee.

Love the doughnuts here, but I really wish they had more staff and made the orders fresh or kept them warm. Every time I come, the doughnuts aren’t warm, but they still taste good.

If you’re looking for a vegan donut, this is not the place. The consistency is a dense, protein bar type of chalky situation. It’s weird to me that a new place like this exists at the same time as places like Voodoo and Beacon in Chicago, where they’re successfully making amazing yeasts vegan donuts, yet Parlor has woefully missed the mark. I’m sure their regular donuts are wonderful, but to anyone that can’t eat those, I’d recommend trying
somewhere else.

Probably the worst gluten free donut I have ever had. It it so weird, it has the consistency and taste of a no-bake peanut butter protein ball but in a donut shape. The chocolate topping is totally watery and dripping off. It it something, but it is not what I would call a donut.

This place actually gets upset with customers who make them aware of concerns. They seem to have a gnat and ant problem in this particular shop. The gnats/flys constantly land on the food. It's gross. This place has zero customer service. If cleanliness and good customer service matter to you, don't bother stopping here.

The BEST donut I have ever had. We are always looking for good milk free desserts and their vegan donuts are the bomb. I was so surprised. Usually you can tell a difference between desserts that are milk free vs not. I’m so glad we know about this gem! It is one of our new favorite spots!
