Amazing cup cakes. I waited until second time to try the product & Im not from around Niguel area. The first time I got cupcakes n German chocolate cake. I don't eat German chocolate cake usually or it's been long time. But this was rich n real chocolatey, not overwhelming n tasted like high quality u order at expensive, elegant restaurant, just elegant. The cupcakes last time n just from tonight as I picked up when they were closing are consistent in quality. The cakes are fluffy, moist. Not dry, not under or over baked. I don't know how they do it. I haven't tasted quality like this since I visited Kenya years ago. Where u feel ur getting actual real dessert. Store ones are not really as satisfactory & normally have very little cake to frosting ratio. By the way, their frosting brings it table too, it tastes real creamy and not dry out or flakey like grocery store bought ones sometimes.

I'm gonna end with this, there's one from tonight that tasted & looked like red velvet, it was very flavorful & velvety(if that's a word, it was unexplainable, being honest). I was a little surprised bc red velvet cakes r generally challenging to make perfect (in my opinion at least), but this one was flavorful and the frosting was amazing, it nice and not overly sweet, like sweet- creamy, lightly dense. Their frostings are not overly sweet. The other one was peanut butter flavor tasting n was nice had a light peanut butter flavor not too much, they are pretty but simple cup cakes, attractive. Not overwhelming or over decorated or color dyes everywhere like some places from my products I received.

The various flavors I've had of cupcakes r consistent in texture, taste, n really fresh tasting. It has 1950's but very modern feel to store, well lit and variety of baked goods I believe. Their chocolate chip cookies, all I can say is yummy, just enough crisp, not too hard or too soft, no too crumby either, Cookie dissolves after eating it without leaving crumbs everywhere or u having to wash it down with a bunch of water/milk, cookies were also moist & not overly, greasy very light but still satiating. Yes, chocolaty but not too much either. Overall, authentic, not greasy that's another thing I like about this bakery. I rarely write reviews unless I've experienced good quality n customer interaction.

Been going to SusiCakes in SoCal for a long time, first to the Newport Beach location starting back in 2010 and then to the Laguna Niguel location because we moved closer to there. Now finally getting round to writing a review which was inspired by my recent experience. First, the online ordering system is fantastic, allowing me to easily customized my cake, add inscription, colors, etc. Then when I picked up a huge Celebration cake I ordered, the service has always been awesome. The ingredients they use are top-notch, like French (higher-fat) butter in their butter frosting. And they have been fast and helpful when I was trying to decide on some extra party things to buy (candles, etc.). They have a great selection there. One key thing people don't report on is how caring they are when things don't always go as expected or planned, which is enviable when you go to a place for so long. This has only happened once, but in my experience they have bent over backward to not question if I was right or wrong, but offered to make up for it overly so. That is so smart, because it has made us a loyal fan and will keep coming back. Thanks SusiCakes!

Best customer service I have ever received at an establishment!! Cupcakes and cakes are amazing and people are so kind! They know that people coming in often are there for some sort of celebration and they match the energy and are equally excited for what you are celebrating. This is the best location!

We spent over 80 bucks buying a sweet 16 birthday cake from this place. We're very familiar with butter cakes cuz we've had it before.
I want to return it and the man behind the counter said I'm just work here but then proceeded to defend one of the worst cakes we ever purchased in my life. It tasted like cornbread I cannot believe the amount of excuses they had but at least they refunded the money in the end. Also it's ridiculous that you get charged three bucks for them to ride a couple things on the cake which pretty much every other place does for free.
I asked him why the other cakes aren't like the vanilla and he said it's a family recipe and continue to give excuses about the cake and why it was stale cuz it was sliced to the air I'm like brother I bought cakes for a long time and they were never like this. Avoid this place at all costs if you're looking for vanilla cake.
You can thank me later.
Don't get this cake for your daughter's sweet 16th party.

Drove over an hour for my cake & it was worth it. Very sweet & helpful service.

I was delivering for Amazon to them and i was so exhausted from a long day and they were so sweet and friendly and they gave me a delicious cupcake. This type of service and selflessness should be rewarded. Great business!

The welcoming experience was fine, but they rush you when it comes to deciding what to order. I requested that they write "Thank you" and my name on the box, but it was just scribbled on. I wish I had done it myself. When we shared the cupcakes with the folks I bought them for, it was all frosting with hardly any cake. The prices are extraordinarily high, yet there's barely any cake—just cheap, sugary frosting with absolutely no flavor. I'm really disappointed, especially after spending $40, including the tip.

To top it off, they didn’t have any snickerdoodle cookies, and the cookies they did have were insanely expensive. I couldn't believe the price for what’s essentially just sugar. Overall, it was a bummer! Probably won’t go back. The nothing but Bunt store in Aliso is amazing and they deliver you can get a dozen mini buntininis for $30 delivered.
