I've always loved Wally Beanz, it's a staple for our family but the prices have gone insane... new owners seem like they are jacking up the prices.

This business is not locally owned by Wally's family. The new owners are price gouging in the store and cafe. They are rude, not friendly. I went to get a bottle of wine that I always get there for years....and they raise the price by 30% when I ask why? They told me "inflation" Now I have to drive to Reno, Chico or Redding to get the wine I want. I bumped into one of the old employees a sweet lady and she told me that after working for them for over 16 years....the new owners that were supposed to keep the employees. She told me she has never been treated so bad that she ended up having to quit...so I will never set foot at this property and waste a penny. Lake Almanor is about relaxing, meeting great people, we help each other either if you are here part time or full time. We didn't need this.

Great coffee spot! Was close to our airb&b and I was pleasantly surprised what a good vanilla latte they made. I don't know what kind of coffee they use but I'm picky and it was delicious!

The atmosphere was very nice but the line took a very long time and the drinks were expensive for not filling them to the top of the cup. There was about 1/5 empty which is a lot for $8 coffees. Some of the staff was extremely kind and some seemed super annoyed we were even in there. I have a feeling it's usually not like this but maybe just staffing problems. Overall I would go back but I hope that it's a better experience.

Adorable shop, great people. Lovely little place. Took some time to get our order but we didn't mind because we were just enjoying our day. We ordered lunch from the deli next door- best decision I ever made.

Wally and his wife are amazing! Super friendly and helpful! Enjoyed a good hot mocha while watching the sun rise over the lake at a brisk 15 degree weather!

Great place for coffee. Just make sure you get here very early on holiday weekends. Otherwise 5-7 people in front of you means a 30-35 min wait.

Whenever we come to Lake Almanor, we always make at least one stop to the Market & their “coffee shack” for great freshly sliced meat, delicious coffee and the most amazing Milkshake EVER called, The Jack.

Normally I love this place so that's why I'm giving it two stars. They have the best milk shakes! We've waited all year long to come back here for vacation and get these shakes. But today we went in and they said they were out of ice cream. Bummed but we said ok can you grab ice cream since you also own the grocery store next door? I guess not which doesn't make much sense. So we asked if we bought the ice cream if they'd make the shake. They said yes but they'd have to charge us the full price of the ice cream in the store and full price of the shake (even though we are buying the supplies) what? Haha. They basically threw away $35+ dollars of business and all it would have took is go grab a pint of ice cream from a store they own. I love this place and want to see them succeed and stay around but hoping they can think more business minded so they can do so.

Please wear a mask, lovely place with lovely people and great coffee. I would like to see the employees wearing a mask and taking the pandemic a little more seriously. Save lives.

Summer time and the milk shakes are fine. Don't get sticker shock when you look at the menu board. These milkshakes are big and rich, like the country stars. They use a lot of ice cream, premium flavored syrups, and milk. Pretty straightforward and simple! We split a large chocolate shake three ways, and still couldn't finish it. Staff was super friendly (even if we couldn't find em at first) and made short work of the shake. They have a fantastic outside deck to sit and relax. It's surrounded by beautiful flowers buzzing with bumble bees and just the right amount of sunshine. If you're hungry for more, Wally's Market is next door and they've got burgers, sandwiches, beer, wine, booze and a whole grocery store to choose from. This is a fun little stop at Almanor!
