Lake Almanor Country Club

We have been renting a house here for the past 12 years. We love the recreation areas, the lake is perfect for swimming, boating and relaxing. We stay in a different house every year and we love the vibe of the community.

Great 9 hole course! The country club was a very nice place most of the people where kind and very sharing about there experiences. I only had one bad run in with some street bikers who where in my lane otherwise I would 100% recommend this place and will definitely be here again.

Best Nine Hole course I have played, from the first hole(Par Five dog leg Right) to last hole (Par 4 straight up a hill) this course is is tough but fun. Every hole has a bit of character. The 2nd hole has great view of Mt Lassen. 5th hole has two trees in fairway like goal posts. We play special rule you get three strokes off score if you hit between the tree on the fly.Two of the Par 3's are a bit long for some players. In fact only complaint I have heard from friends is the 6 hole is too long straight up a hill to be a par 3. To that I say just hit it brother will all have to play same course.It is a country club course and members do get some priority. It open to public too so make sure to make your tee times as soon as you can especially over busy weeks like 4th of July.Bailey Creek is a near by just our side gate. 18 hole course perfect for boggy golfer. LA West course is across the lake and is ok relatively flat with large green with two pins on every green. One for front nine and one for the back nine.Bar and Patio has great view of first tee. Love this place and will continue to play it over and over again.
