Excellent beers and service! The atmosphere is stellar and getting eats from across the street to enjoy with the sensational beers is fun.

Fantastic beers. One of the best NEIPAs I've had in a long while. And the food. The food was bloody amazing. Make a special trip or stop here for lunch on your way down south. You won't regret it.

The beer was delicious and the beer slushies were very refreshing! The little kids enjoyed playing on the grass. Great place to go!

What a fantastic place this is! Perfect neighborhood brewery on the peninsula with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The owners make the beer and also pour it to happy and friendly customers. Ok that's about it - except to mention that the beer is delicious and the name of this place pulls at my heartstrings for all things related to Ishi. Don't miss this place when you are at Lake Almanor!

Great brewery. Stopped in to grab some beers last night. The owners were as nice as they come, and the beer is absolutely delicious. And I think it goes without saying that sitting outside gives phenomenal ambiance. What a great place! Definitely worth checking out!

Waganupa is one of our favorite breweries to visit. When we visit Lake Almanor is it always a must on our list. The location is fun and matches the whole almanor vibe. The owner is the best! He's a local and turned his hobby into an amazing business. Not only is this brewery more local than it gets but they also focus on keeping things natural. The water they make the beer with has no additives and personally I think that's one of the reasons why the beer is so good! If they have it on tap you must try the jalapeño! All of the beer is good but the jalapeño is one of my favorites. The PCT themed one is also a must! We love this brewery and we will always be big Waganupa Brewing supporters!

Small local brewery where the brewer actually pours the beers. I had a good conversation while he explained the process for the beers that I was trying. I had the Common. Nice flavor in a light beer. The Common with lime was awesome. He explained that he added a lime purée. The berry common was good as well with the added berry purée. If you like hazy beers. Try the foggy. It was outstanding as well. Everything I tried was good. That is not an easy feet for a small operation. The place was nice. People were nice. Beer was great and reasonably priced at 6 bucks a pour. They had some sweatshirts and hats to buy as well. I certainly recommend.

So happy that there is a local craft brewery here. I think they have something for everyone. Seltzer to porters, sours to saison, pints to flights..... They even can send you home with their crawler can. In and outdoor seating.

What a friendly neighborhood brewery! Looks a little small, but they make a lot of different beers with BIG flavors. Got the flight and I must say the flavors are original and I couldn't compare it to something else. If I close my eyes, it might be something from northern Europe, but I digress. Get the flight and expand your flavor recognition buds on your tongue!

The service was super nice and friendly. It's a bit of a trek to get there but if you're in the area it's worth a stop. One word of warning, their beers are pretty unusual and their hazy is way too sweet. If you're a beer purest this might be a challenge.

Tanya Marquez

Highly reccomend! Great experience, great beer, the owner is very sweet and it makes you apreciate supporting a local brewery. Will be back! The hazy is tastey ?
