This was the last place we stopped on the way back to Ontario Airport. It wasn't our first choice but it was open on Monday morning. We had to wait a long time to be served, even though we were sitting at the counter and the place was practically empty. The server never brought our coffee, we had to ask a different server. And we were never offered refills - on coffee!? At breakfast!? The muffin I had was mediocre. I don't even remember what my husband ordered. It was as if the server(s) didn't want us there. I enjoyed the time we spent in Blue Jay and Lake Arrowhead but not Bill's Villager.

We went at 2:00 which is their closing time. I didn't realize it. They welcomed us right in and we were the only ones there and they served us like we were the king and queen. Love this place.

Wait is usually long, but worth it. It's our favorite breakfast / brunch spot when we're in the area. Portions are generous and service is always friendly.

I've lived in Lake Arrowhead full-time for a decade and have gone to Bill's more times than I can count. It was always good enough until this past year. Today was the last time we'll be getting food there though. We got takeout, two club sandwiches and a reuben. Both club sandwiches had just ham and no turkey. The ham was also a combo of thin lunch meat and 1/2" slices. The bread wasn't toasted and they were literally dripping mayo. My husband and son each took a bite and threw them away. Then there was my rueben. The color of the corned beef was totally wrong and when I took a bite the flavor of the sandwich was VERY "off" in every way. Also, it wasn't grilled. Just greasy warm bread. I was afraid of the sandwich making me sick so I threw it away. Yep, all three of us threw our food away without even eating it. It was that bad. Never again!

Spent a lazy Sunday morning at what used to be our favorite restaurant when we come up to our cabin. This particular Sunday didn't find the place as busy as it used to be. Maybe the word has gotten out about the lack of good service and more importantly, the food quality which has sunk to an all time low. Our server, Rosa, couldn't care less about our beverage refill needs or the fact that our order took over 45 minutes to arrive. She merely took our order then delivered it. Zero customer service which I complained to her about only to watch her shrug! The Reuben sandwich I ordered contained very dry corned beef, a mere spoonful of it and a half slice of cheese and very minimal sauerkraut which sadly made my sandwich dry and almost inedible. The French fries had to be sent back as they were cold and some were uncooked. My child ordered a Chicken Ortega sandwich which arrived missing the chile. His fries were over cooked! My oldest child ordered a cheeseburger to be prepared medium. It had to be sent back as it was served rare. My brother ordered the Eggs Benedict that was drowning in hollandaise sauce and Rosa forgot his toast! I asked our server, Rosa, if they had changed cooks in the kitchen and she said "yes and no" it's obvious that something's happened as we used to thoroughly enjoy our meals there. We paid $107 for what can only be described as "completely unenjoyable" and I doubt we'll come back.

Always a go to for breakfast, lunch or taco Tuesday. The food never disappoints. Friendly staff

This is a nice restaurant with good food. Large menu with a lot of options for breakfast and lunch. The buffalo chicken sandwich, hot turkey, and the soups are great. My kids love going to this restaurant as well. The owner is very friendly and involved. However, it is often to busy to get a table on the weekends and I am disappointed that they are no longer open for dinner.

We stopped into Bill's on our way out of Lake Arrowhead. I had the huevos rancheros and it was delicious! The hashbrowns were nice and crispy and oh so good. the poached eggs were perfect. My husband had the homemade corned beef hash with eggs and hashbrowns. It was delicious. The portions are large! unfortunately we had a 3-hour drive home, so we couldn't take the leftovers with us. The service was very good, and all the staff were super friendly. It's just a couple miles from Lake arrowhead, so if you are in Lake Arrowhead and want an awesome breakfast, drive in to Blue Jay and visit Bill's.

Waffles and pancakes were not wonderful. Very doughy. The bacon was very good. Service was good and they're very dog friendly.

My wife ordered a large tuna salad. We were very impressed with the large amount of tuna, however the lettuce was iceberg, and contained many pieces of brown lettuce, with few green leaves. She left over 3/4 of the lettuce as it appeared very unappetizing. When my wife explained this to the waitress, she said she would let the owner know, and did. No one apologized about the situation. They just didn't seem to care. We have had other good experiences at this restaurant, mostly at breakfast. However today we were extremely disappointed, and we'll have to reconsider ever going back. All the owner had to do was apologize (we understand things happen) but this was not to be. As we were leaving, we noticed the lettuce in the salad bar had the same issue.

5 stars for the good food and the people who treat you like family. I probably shouldn't have come when it was busy and very hungry, because I waited longer than I wanted to. The staff was absolutely outstanding as they attended to everyone that came in. I will be back again.

My daughter was too hungry to wait so I didn’t take a picture of the first hot dog I was served. This was the second one I sent back because WHAT. Need I say anymore? We also got here at 10:20am and did not get served our food until 12pm. This is not a place to take your family nor to get a quick bite to eat.
