Friendly service. Crispy fish tacos a bit expensive, but it's in the mountains and remote so to be expected.
I ordered the avocado focaccia that came with two poached eggs on it with garlic aioli. It would've been great but it wasn't even warm, more like cold. I thought the focaccia would've been warm, but, no. We were one of two small parties, so, it wasn't busy at all.
They seemed to have a difficulty finding the reservation, but once they did, our server responded well to my requests of a birthday surprise. Made the experience 10 times better with his showmanship. Made the birthday girl feel great and I appreciated that. The food was decent and decently priced. The volume was at a good level. Just you and your table plus the server could be heard.
Always impressed with Bin189 at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Had breakfast here today, the breakfast burrito was incredible, and now has my vote as the best on the mountain. Seems pricey, but the portion is enough for two meals.
We made reservations at Bin 189 several weeks prior to visiting Lake Arrowhead. The online menu mentions vegan Ravioli. As we have 3 vegans in the party we looked forward to an Italian based dinner that evening. We had amazing lunches and dinners at other establishments earlier in the week like Lake Front Gastropub, Spade and Spatula among others. The manager was nice on greeting but everything went downhill after being seated. Katie the server, mentioned the Vegan Ravioli no longer exists. When i mentioned we confirmed it on the menu and again when making reservations, she said they changed it but forgot to update everything for several months. Since it was a special occasion and also a table we had waited for a while we asked if she could ask the chef if anything could be done, in light of the misinformation we were given on multiple occasions. She abruptly said, it's a busy time and nothing could be done. She didn't even try to-check with chef or management. For a restaurant that advertises semi-fine dining, the service does not reflect upon this at all, not to mention on the Lake arrowhead resort as its part of that hotel, It is more of a mill where clients are quickly shuffled and given poor service. We left as there were no real vegan options other than cold salads, thankfully The Lakefront restaurant and pub got us a table and amazing service once again! I would advise management to update menu and staff on menu changes when given out info and encourage more customer service training with wait staff. I recommend other hotels like UCLA lake arrowhead lodges as well. We will not be back to Bin 189.
Such a beautiful place and views, you almost forget you are there to eat. The food was good, not great. Average to be more descriptive. If the food matched the ambiance, I would move in.
We came here twice, understaffed, food is ok. Very disappointed for the price point.. we waited 45 minutes for our food to come out.. twice!!! Very unfortunate
Cant say enough good things about this guy Demi,, made it all happen for a soecial weekend birthday !! Delany was aldo so great !! Love rhe brunch and the Omelette guy !! It was his birthday too !!
Great food. Great view. Special recognition for the manager Demi - he helped us quickly and amazingly. I shared with him that one of my children is very sensitive to noises and sound and we were seated in a noisy section. He listened and moved us without a second thought to the wine tasting room - where we dined in a much quieter ambiance. We also wanted to recognize our server Cayro - he was attentive and so knowledgeable even though we were in a far away part of the restaurant. The food was great - the salmon and risotto was divine. The carrot cake was the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back.
My family and I had such a lovely time at this new to us restaurant. We've been part time residents for some years now and have always been off put by the bad reviews. Finally decided to broaden our horizons and it did not disappoint. Excellent service from our attendant, Cayro, from the start to the very end. Food was great, ambiance was lovely, overall a great evening.

Horrible service, mediocre food that’s expensive in a beautiful setting. The restaurant was virtually empty at 1230pm on Tuesday. They had 2 tables inside & 3 tables outside to take care of & all they wanted to do was stand around & talk within themselves. It took 10 minutes to even be greeted once we were seated outside. Another 20 minutes for an ice tea, Diet Coke & glass of wine & the waitress was inside chatting with her coworkers until she saw my son go in to use the restroom & then brought our drinks out. It took 35-40 minutes to receive our food. The chicken sandwich was suppose to have fresh fruit with it, but she forgot the fruit when she delivered the sandwich & said she’d bring it right out. She brought the fruit once the sandwich was finished. My son asked for a 2nd glass of wine which didn’t arrive till his meal was finished. The 2 additional outside tables literally were taking care of themselves. One table took their drink glasses inside to be refilled & the other table the gentleman went to the waitress station outside & picked up his own silverware & napkins. We’ve been here several times before. In the past we didn’t mind paying the price for good food & good service, but this place has really went downhill. Don’t let the setting fool you. I even called the manager to discuss our horrible service & he explained he was the evening manager & that he wouldn’t let this happen on his shift. He apologized, said he had taken several notes & would let the daytime manager know. He then asked what my expectations were & I said I expect a call back from the morning manager the following day to discuss our horrible service & mediocre food. Of course, the manager never returned my call.

The food was delicious. We ate there 3 nights and were never disappointed. The view is wonderful. They also have a good happy hour at the bar. The staff was very friendly. Next time we go to the Arrowhead Resort, it will be the only place we will go to.
I loved the food, a lot of great flavors and beautiful presentation. The staff was great and friendly, the weather was perfect and it was beautiful overlooking the lake. There were yellow jackets buzzing about, but leave them alone and they'll leave you alone.
Great food and service! The only thing is the outdoor seating is limited to tables of 4 or less. We had 6 and they wouldn't put two tables together. Otherwise good experience.
We arrived early for our reservation and we wasn't seated until 35 minutes later . We we're told that there was reservations for outside tables but was still seated to the back in the dark by the stairs . Caro was best part of this snobby place , everyone after him was very rude and nasty . When we got our food , our appetite ruined by then & the food wasn't the best . The scenery was best overall , I wouldn't dine here again . Made us feel totally uncomfortable & unwanted , I still had a good birthday.
