We were looking for a healthy place to eat in Lake Arrowhead, and we found it. The bowls were fresh and tasty.
The good...
Decent sauces, love some of the topping options like bonito flakes and pickled cucumber.
The bad...
Forgot to include my musubi in my bag, which luckily I caught before getting too far away. Rice was hot, which doesn't work so great in poke bowls.
The ugly..
Jalapeño pieces were absurd. Not diced, not pickled jalapeños, not roasted jalapeños, they're not seeded or cored. Just enormous pieces of raw jalapeño that were either overwhelming or simply picked out. Masubi was 5$ a piece, and served wrapped in saran wrap and appeared to have been sitting in a food warmer all morning like something straight from 7-11.
I’ve been getting bowls here for since they opened. Just ordered a bowl yesterday and the salmon was cut so small you could barely find it they have cut the portions down to ridiculously small size and the quality was poor. So disappointed won’t be back.
4 starts instead of 5 because they aren't entirely vegan / vegetarian, but I've always had a good experience here. I usually get the Killer Tofu Bowl which is vegan by default. They also have a ton of customization options as well as fully custom bowls. I usually add their chili garlic sauce and extra tofu. They also had a new menu item when I went most recently, a Tofu Musubi. It really hit the spot and I'm always excited to have more options on the mountain!
Was at lake arrowhead brewing and wanted a snack. They have an awesome service with rippin bowls (which is up the hill in the mall area) where you can order online and the brewery will go pick it up on a golf cart and deliver it down to you! Ordered some spam musubi and a poke bowl to share between 2. Was the perfect snack for a brewery, fresh and pretty quick. Highly recommend.

I got the ripper bowl and my husband got the smoké bowl. I will preface this review with we have had poke in Hawaii and it was heavenly! However we have had poke in Utah and it far surpassed what we were served today. First, the service was supremely slow. Second , neither of us finished our tiny portions of about 1/3c tuna. The rice was VERY undercooked and the only thing with flavor was the ginger. The tuna had a cooked texture and the smoké only had 2 tiny futimake pickles.
This restaurant does not desire the title poké!!!

Food is very tasty and lots of options to customize your bowl to your preference. Only thing that would improve it is if there were more convenient seating options if you want to eat on-site.

They tend to be pretty heavy handed with the sauce, so I would suggest getting easy sauce or on the side. Other than that, very friendly service and fresh food.

I got one strand of furikake and one strand of seaweed topping. Yes, those were part of my order. This just happened at 4:30 so not even at a busy time.
[Edit] For the owner that has hard time with reading comprehension: if I order toppings, I’m expecting at least a tablespoon of it. Instead, I just got a single strand of each like it was some kind of joke.
Check your orders right when you receive it, people! And don’t tip until you do.
Very gooddddddd stuffffffff!!!

I am consistently happy with my food here! They accommodate for my gluten allergy very well and I feel comfortable ordering the build your own poke so can leave a note on my order form for “gluten free!” When I first came here, the employees knew exactly what sauces were gluten free. A knowledgeable team helps me feel safe to eat out with an allergy.
Please extend your hours!! My family and I always want poke around 8 or 9 pm? Thank you Rippin Bowls!

Overpriced poke bowl served in plastic (no seating in the restaurant), but it's a decent option in Lake Arrowhead village. None of the employees wore hair nets.

The fish itself and toppings have good flavor. You would think it is a healthy meal but it is not. The amount of oil is extreme. I could not eat the rice. Oil is in puddles at the bottom. Rice is soaked with oil. There is a crunchy thick layer on the bowl too that is fried oil. Not healthy clean eating as expected.

The poke bowls are decent. The bowls may not be equally made. The staff was responsive, but did not appear to be the most friendly.
