Stopped in from West LA for a late dinner during this most recent Valentine’s Day & President’s Day long weekend and it was honestly better than we were expecting. It’s located on the ground floor of an Inn of the same name. It has an old timey, alpine look to it which really adds to the ambiance. They have a full bar, as well as booths, tables, and covered patio seating. It’s pretty large inside so can host large groups as well. Our server was very sweet and all of our items arrived quickly.
They don’t have a very large menu, but it does have a lot of great options on it, especially for over 5000 feet above sea level. I chose one of the specials for the night which was the Black Cod. It was honestly great, cooked perfectly, and a fair portion. I enjoyed every part of it and would recommend. I also started off with the French Onion Soup and that too was great, it was a bit saltier than most versions I have back home, but still I liked it. We also ordered the Cobb Salad which was generous in portions, and we both really liked it. I was not a very big fan of the French Fries, that was the only downside of the meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for dinner when visiting Lake Arrowhead, especially for anyone looking for a great place for a date.

This is the 4th year we have been coming to Lake Arrowhead Saddleback Grill and staying at the Saddleback Inn for my birthday (1st week in Feb). I cannot rave enough about everything but will keep this strictly to the restaurant. Absolutely superb! Our server this year was Yasmeen. Personable, friendly and excellent server all the way around. The food is everything one would want for a special meal. French Onion soup was divine. I had Filet mignon and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly and the Bernaise made it even more delectable. Husband had the rib eye and he loved it. The garlic mashed potatoes were perfect. The creamed spinach was delicious. And bday desert was bread pudding...If you go, dont pass this up. 2nd favorite was the cheesecake. And last year I had the sorbet which was delicious. One of the reasons this place is perfect is the dog friendliness. The indoor patio is perfect and comfortable and everyone greets the pup too. Our husky loves the place as much as we do. We will be back every year. And probably before next Feb also.

Their chefs absolutely nail it with the sauces they make as part of their dishes -- some of the best we've ever had! The waiting staff are all accommodating, friendly, and efficient. The restaurant has a family vibe and I highly recommend it!

This was my first time dining at this restaurant it certainly won’t be my last. Everyone was so warm and inviting and the food was absolutely delicious. Our server Andrew was awesome! He gave us great recommendations and was super attentive despite it being so busy. He made us feel right at home, like we were old friends. Anytime we are back in Lake Arrowhead we will definitely be coming back!!

Very disappointing experience, primarily with the service. Went to celebrate my birthday and our server was largely absent throughout the whole meal and was obviously distracted by a personal matter. We were not offered dessert let alone provided a birthday acknowledgment. The food was extremely rich and overpriced for the casual atmosphere and appearance of staff.

Onion soup & wedge salad with Gorgonzola were both excellent. My wife & I shared the duck, which was tender and included an excellent sauce, pilaf with wild rice, super carrots and nicely done green beans. Plus an excellent bottle of Sonoma Cabernet. Service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable.

Our food and drinks were perfect. Serving sizes were generous and the quality of our different meal selections was outstanding! The restaurant atmosphere is very cozy and blends great in the mountains. We highly recommend Saddleback Grill!

No prices were listed on restaurant website. Menu on the website was not well-formatted. Pictures on the website didn't do a good job of making the food looking appealing. Food was okay; nothing bad, but nothing great. Presentation was ho-hum. Waitstaff were polite, but our server was perfunctory and inattentive. Was this dining out? Yes Was this fine dining? Unfortunately, no.

We went to Saddleback Grill on Sept 22 during our Lake Arrowhead vacation and absolutely loved everything about this place!
The food was fantastic and the service was efficient, friendly, and welcoming. Our waitress, Yasmine, was wonderful. She recommended mocktails for our kids, was attentive throughout the evening, and made us feel at home.
We started with the calamari appetizer, which was fresh and delicious. For mains, I had the duck (amazing!) and my husband had the filet mignon, perfectly cooked. Our kid ordered the chicken fingers, which came in a generous portion. We finished with the bread pudding for dessert which was so good!
Generous portions, great flavors, and excellent service. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next trip to Lake Arrowhead!
