UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge Dining Room

We were expecting better at this resort. Food was mediocre and came to table lukewarm to cold.The broccoli rabb was over seasoned. Soup was lukewarm. Salad lacked dressing .Very disappointing. The Chef needs to taste the food he is serving!

Great brunch with eggs, bagels, frittata, a selection of pastries, and unique European breads and jams. Nice setting and service

Had a great getaway at the Lodge and the dinner and breakfast here was really good, thank you!

Make sure to call ahead to see if you can order from the Tavern (if you don't want a buffet). The drinks were delicious, the food was well done and the customer service was extraordinary. We were there at a very busy time and there was some confusion but manager Adrien was exceptional and took really wonderful care of us. Also, all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return! And highly recommend the Fish room!

We were one of three couples waiting to order. They took our order promptly. Our food arrived in 45 minutes. Food was cold. Both of our orders were incorrect. My sausage Benedict didn't have sausage, but ham. My husband's chili rellenos didn't include chorizo.

The food situation is mediocre. The salad was supposed to have pears in it, but didn't. When I asked the server she said she didn't know, although she asked me if I wanted another salad after I'd finished the first one. I declined. I had the chicken which was just ok. Could have used more sauce and the side was some cooked cabbage. Not good. My husband had the salmon which was over cooked. Same sides. The food feels like cafeteria food. Made in mass portions and just not good. We want the Lodge to succeed but they really need to step up their game if they want locals to keep coming back.

Each time I dine at the Lake Arrowhead Lodge it is a truly wonderful experience! The food is wonderful, and the staff there is extremely warm and welcoming! I can't wait to return!

Great overall experience. Fireside with coffee in one of four fireside locations. A very nice pub area that also serves food.

As a local I love this option and the authentic mountain ambiance. Great place to sit and have a cocktail as well.

A great place to eat and visit with friends. The food variety and quality was very good. We look forward to more visits there when we are in Arrowhead. The bar is amazing addition with good drinks.

We have dined here in the past and the food has been great. This time however the food seemed to be cafeteria type food warmed up and served. The tri tip was dry and tough and the halibut seemed like it had been boiled. Not at all a $90 meal. The service as always is excellent,

The dining room was cozy and clean, the food was terrific, and the service was good. They brought me a small (real small) birthday cake without me knowing it was going to happen. Great time, heading over there again tonight.

We had a dinner there. They served a set menu for adults and kids. The food was not great. The fish was very dry and the beef was overcooked. Our kids only had a few bites of their kids meal, so we had to order pizza afterwards. They are also understaffed so service was very slow. The lodging is cute but will not recommend people to dine in here. It's over priced for not good quality food.

UCLA is promoting the Village when the locals are at odds with the management and the village has never been so poorly maintained? Couldn’t be more obvious which side you are on and it’s not with WE THE PEOPLE! UCLA is just more of the same derelict elitists that are currently ruining the Lake and the Village! Beware!

I was really excited to have breakfast here one of the mornings when we stayed at the lodge for three nights. We were there for a personal vacation not part of a group. We paid $25 per person for cold food and weak coffee. ☹️☹️☹️ The free coffee in the lobby was better than the coffee they served in the restaurant. If you're staying here as part of a group and not paying yourself, breakfast is great because it's way better than what you would get a normal hotel. However, if you're going to pay for your breakfast yourself, you're far better off going to a local restaurant getting exactly what you want and having it served while it's actually hot.
