We were one of three couples waiting to order. They took our order promptly. Our food arrived in 45 minutes. Food was cold. Both of our orders were incorrect. My sausage Benedict didn't have sausage, but ham. My husband's chili rellenos didn't include chorizo.
The food situation is mediocre. The salad was supposed to have pears in it, but didn't. When I asked the server she said she didn't know, although she asked me if I wanted another salad after I'd finished the first one. I declined. I had the chicken which was just ok. Could have used more sauce and the side was some cooked cabbage. Not good. My husband had the salmon which was over cooked. Same sides. The food feels like cafeteria food. Each time I dine at the Lake Arrowhead Lodge it is a truly wonderful experience! The food is wonderful, and the staff there is extremely warm and welcoming! I can't wait to return!
